Breakfast Date Trip at Chixboy in Busay, Cebu City

How’s your day going today? Good day Hivers! I hope you’re doing great. It’s me again. I just wanted to share with you how we spent our quick morning breakfast trip together with my boyfriend. Despite our busy schedules since our time often meet yet we still managed to see each other even just like for a few hours on a date. We decided to go on a date right after our shift, and we visited Chixboy in Busay, Cebu, Philippines. It is well-known for its delicious Filipino food with a stunning view of Cebu City and breathtaking mountain views. If you are craving tasty Filipino Foods at the same time enjoying the beautiful mountain view and relaxing environment then you can go ahead and visit the Chixboy branch in Busay, Cebu City. It was just a quick drive about a 15–20-minute ride away from JY Square.

These photos of mine underneath the sun were taken by my boyfriend. I think it was a perfect photography shot even though it's against the light but found it aesthetic. It was a refreshing break from our usual daily life routine, allowing us to relax and connect. Even though our time together was quick, our breakfast date was beneficial to us both in way we could gain deep talks and talk about how our week went, and at the same time, we felt relaxed because of the fresh air. Even for a little while, it serves as a reminder of how important it is to set aside time for the ones we love. It was a simple yet meaningful morning that left us both feeling grateful and satisfied.

It amazes me that these houses were built near the mountains, therefore I like to take a closer look at them because they are just as stunning as the surrounding area, which is covered with leafy greenery. Cebuanos enjoy heading up to the mountains of Busay for a relaxing time, and Chixboy is a favorite spot. Even though it's simple, its surroundings make the food taste even better. Plus, the menu isn't expensive at all, with lots of affordable options.

I love their sweet coffee latte, especially when I pair it with special "Budong Malungay Pandesal'' or bread which we bought from the city. What we ordered is their pork with egg, chorizo, and dried fish ("buwad" in Bisaya), and it was incredibly delicious. I would like to rate it 1000/100. It feels like eating in the province and I'm so satisfied with their food, especially since they also offer fresh coconut just adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. Chixboy's vibe matches perfectly with the relaxed environment of Busay. It's a great place to enjoy simple yet flavorful meals without breaking the bank because I can say it’s afforable😂. Their coffee latte is a standout, especially when paired with their unique pandesal. The variety of dishes which as the pork with egg and chorizo, I felt satisfied as well as budget-friendly.

Moreover,the kitchen in the shape of a truck was amazing. It looked like a colorful bus but inside it was all about making delicious food. We arrived and stopped there at 6 a.m., yet their business hours were stated as 7 a.m. I appreciate how helpful their staff was. Even so, I would be willing to wait patiently until they opened to take our orders. However, they have never let us be disappointed, they have considered our order, cooked it right away and we were able to enjoy breakfast before seven in the morning. Their staff was accommodating and made sure we felt welcome. They never made us wait long to order our food, which was great. It felt like something special where travelers could unwind, enjoy delicious food, and take in the welcoming ambiance The design of the kitchen perfectly matched the lively energy of the place, making it more than just a stop for food but a memorable experience on the journey.

But what got me was the bond we shared and the memories we made. It made me realize how important it is to spend time with your partner, even if it's just once a week when you're super busy. Making that effort to stay connected is what counts in the end (it’s the thought that counts). To everyone who has a lack of time with their partners, please make time as it is important to stay connected with each other even in a spare time at least once a week. It's a reminder to everyone out there with busy lives. Take the time to be with your partner, even if it's just a little bit each week. Those moments together are what truly matters.
