Good day Hivers! This blog will be all about the apartment we found in Siquijor Island Philippines. One thing on the list as we travel is where to rest after a long trip. Before we travel, we check if we have relatives or friends in that area to let us stay in their place. Since searching for a place to rest is tiring to do physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. That’s why, staying in a relative a the best thing to make the expenses less while traveling.
What about the travel is unexpected? How would you be able to find a place to stay?
That’s what happened to us, my husband and I, together with my colleagues and cousin decided to travel to Siquijor Island. It was an undecided plan since the weather before the plan date was uncertain and the worst thing was it 3 days before the date, The Philippines experienced a tropical cyclone with a category of tropical depression. The reason why, we did not book in advance a place to stay in Siquijor Island.
When we arrived at Siquijor Island, we automatically searched for a place to stay before we explored the island. One of my colleagues decided to use the application Tiktok where people posted a review of their find place on the island. Only to find out that the place at that time where fully booked and could not accommodate more than five persons. We are seven in a group.
Since the Tiktok application has a limited number of information on finding a place to stay. So, I decided to use the powerful Agoda Application. This is an online booking application that is very useful while traveling to Asia places.
As we used the information found in Agoda, we tried to check the Casa James Bungalow and Apartment. The budget for the apartment ranged from P2,300.00 to P2,500.00 for four persons and you will just add P350.00 for an extra person which is affordable for us.
The Casa James Bungalow and Apartment has a pool that you can access for free once you check-in the place. It has NO Curfew at that time. You can use the pool anytime you want as long as you ask permission from the owner.
The best thing about Casa James Bungalow and Apartment was the rooms were air-conditioned, and free access to their refrigerator, rice cooker, their kitchen area including the LPG for a price of P5,000.00 in a group of seven.
The best of all the best of Casa James Bungalow and Apartment was their comfort rooms. The CR has a heater and BIDET. Bidet was one of my qualifications for a good place to stay while traveling.
If you want to travel in a group, or with your family, in Siquijor Island and want to feel like you are just in your house. Where you can cook and dive, Casa James Bungalow and Apartment is right for you and your company.

What a perfect place for a staycation. Surely you had a great time swimming all day and night. Honestly, I so love the place and I believe it is nice to stay there. The place looked so serene and relaxing.
Yes @pinkchic . If you are brave enough to spend the night in Siquijor you can do the swimming all night. 😁 But, for me, because of the stories, I'm not brave enough to spend beyond 8pm in Siquijor. Hehehe
