If you take a look at my blog you will see that music is part of my life, since I was a child I have liked to sing and nowadays I do it actively for this blockchain. I have always liked to see artists on stage and imagine that I am one of them. So far I have only been able to sing through the camera, but I hope one day to perform in front of a large audience on a big stage. In this same sense and as part of my hobbies, I like to see artists singing live on stage, I think that's where they really develop and show who they are, that's the right way to transmit the vibes of the music.
That said, I present a place that is iconic in the city of Maracay in terms of music and that is the Acoustic Shell Las Delicias. As you will see in the next pictures, it is a kind of large cement funnel that has the characteristic of generating good acoustics and therefore a quality sound. It certainly has the shape of a seashell, probably hence its name. I am very struck by the fact that it is built with different layers which are probably the ones that generate a clean and clear sound.
It is important to note that it still retains its original color and I say this because it is a structure that I have been seeing since I was a child and has always had the same appearance, however, in the exteriors and common areas it has been renovated. In addition to the large shell-shaped structure, we can see that the stage is of the same material and the same color, which creates harmony from a distance and also for the musicians who are on stage.
The area for the public is large, clean and with many trees around, which makes you feel that you are in a cozy environment. There is no security railing in front of the stage, which makes the presentations quite intimate. Immediately after the stage there is a space with artificial grass, then a space with a cement floor and further away are the bleachers which are also made of cement. I have previously attended events there and I can tell you first hand that there is a very good visual perspective.
Entrance
The entrance to the venue is simple but quite spacious, it has two security turnstiles and just to the right after passing the first door there is a very interesting artwork. After passing the entrance there is a direct view of the stage, so if you are late you can have a direct view of the artist as soon as you enter. The upper part of the main entrance is also used to promote events. The sign that says "Concha Acústica" has lights which are best seen at night.
External part
The outside is very well maintained and decorated, practically most of it is green areas which are very well preserved. There is a lot of advertising as it is a very popular place, there is also a giant QR code which I don't know its purpose and there is a service room in the shape of a rubik's cube. I think the outside of the acoustic shell is a pretty cool anteroom to what we see inside.
Art works
It is worth mentioning that there are different works of art distributed throughout the place, I think it is evident that music and art go hand in hand and this space tries to reinforce it. Of all the ones I show you below I like the wall with musical notes and the cyclist that is climbing up the wall.
This beautiful structure of the city of Maracay has been renovated and they have done it well, I say this because I know that the past has been in terrible conditions and even inoperative. I hope soon to return to a new musical event there to continue delighting myself with what I like. It was a pleasure to share with you once again, a big hug!

La Concha Acústica... what memories... beyond the concerts I went to see, it's the emotion it gives me to know that I once played live there for a rock audience, it was the most emblematic performance for me personally because as you say, playing there is great 🤘

La Concha Acústica de Maracay se ve bellísima, me recuerda a la que hay en el Parque del Este aquí en Caracas, personalmente nunca he visitado ninguna concha acústica ni he visto presentaciones allí pero siempre he amado lo bien que representan la relación forma-función.
