Trono de cristal se ha convertido en una de mis sagas favoritas, de todos los más de 100 libros que he leído en toda mi vida, estos se encuentran tan solo por debajo de “De Sangre y Cenizas” y la verdad esto me emociona demasiado. Rápidamente les recuerdo, esta saga está escrita por la grandiosa Sarah J. Mass y este post está lleno de spoilers, así que están advertidos. La última vez les hice la reseña de “Corona de Medianoche”, el segundo libro de esta saga, donde al final, descubrimos que Calaena Sardothien es Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, pero desde mi punto de vista, nuestra protagonista tiene u conflicto de personalidades, así que durante casi medio libro ella es Calaena. Y recordemos que, Chaol la envía a Wedlyn, un reino de Erilea donde la magia corre libremente por todos sus rincones, donde las hadas son las gobernantes y hay un reino llamado Dorallene. Además, en este libro ya se nos introduce una de las mujeres más poderosas de Erilea, la bruja Manon Blackbeak. Así que, vamos a reseñar los 3 POV de este libro, bueno serían 4 con Chaol pero juntémosle con Dorian y al final opiniones generales.
Throne of Glass has become one of my favorite sagas, out of all the 100+ books I've read in my entire life, these are only below "Of Blood and Ashes" and I'm really excited about it. Quick reminder, this saga is written by the great Sarah J. Mass and this post is full of spoilers, so be warned. Last time I reviewed "Midnight Crown", the second book of this saga, where at the end, we discover that Calaena Sardothien is Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, but from my point of view, our protagonist has a conflict of personalities, so for almost half of the book she is Calaena. And let's remember that Chaol sends her to Wedlyn, a kingdom of Erilea where magic runs freely in all its corners, where fairies are the rulers and there is a kingdom called Dorallene. Moreover, in this book we are already introduced to one of the most powerful women in Erilea, the witch Manon Blackbeak. So, let's review the 3 POV of this book, well it would be 4 with Chaol but let's put him together with Dorian and at the end general opinions.
Teóricamente hablando Chaol envió a Celeana lejos para protegerla a ella y a Dorian, para que nadie descubriera que ella es Hada y que el tiene magia, ya que el rey podría secuestrarlos o matadlos. Recordemos que Dorian tiene magia, una magia cruda y letal la más rara de todas, que puede moldear a cualquier elemento que él desee. Lo que vemos de mi príncipe Dorian es su lucha por mantener su secreto oculto, tratando de controlar su magia y también la partida de Celeana junto con la distancia que hay entre él y Chaol, de hecho entre estos dos ocurren muchas de mis frases favoritas. También vemos que se enamora de una sanadora llamada Sorscha, ella lo ayuda a controlar su magia, evidentemente esta es una relación en secreto. Por otro lado Chaol, que a mí honestamente no me gusta mucho, empieza a ser como de doble agente. Ya que tratar de tener conexión con los rebeldes, aquí aparece Aedion Ashryver (primo de Celeana y capitan del Flagelo, una legion de Adarlan) también trata de tener un trato con su padre para poder irse a sus tierras, como Lord de Anielle. Con el fin también de proteger entrecomillas a Dorian, ya que según él estaba haciendo todo lo correcto. Para mí Chaol no encontraba que hacer, él conoció a la verdadera Celeana y la verdad se asustó con lo que vio y su amor se convirtió en miedo. Él terminaba de elegir ningún lado, no elegía a Dorian completamente, no elegía Celeana, no elegía rebeldes no elegía al reino, él estaba en un tira y afloja y a mí la verdad eso me tenía estresada. Y pues llegó un punto donde los descubren, el rey de Adarlan decide ejecutar a la novia de Dorian y este evidentemente se vuelve loco. Dorian suelta su magia, le dice a Chaol que se vaya y él, pues básicamente huye en vez de quedarse a luchar. Y a Dorian le terminan colocando un collar que aloja a un Valg (demonio) en su cuerpo pues básicamente se va a la mierda.
Theoretically speaking Chaol sent Celeana away to protect her and Dorian, so that no one would discover that she is Fairy and that he has magic, since the king could kidnap or kill them. Let's remember that Dorian has magic, a raw and lethal magic the rarest of all, that he can mold to any element he desires. What we see of my prince Dorian is his struggle to keep his secret hidden, trying to control his magic and also the departure of Celeana along with the distance between him and Chaol, in fact between these two many of my favorite lines occur. We also see that he falls in love with a healer named Sorscha, she helps him to control his magic, evidently this is a secret relationship. On the other hand Chaol, who I honestly don't like very much, starts to be like a double agent. Since he tries to have a connection with the rebels, here appears Aedion Ashryver (cousin of Celeana and captain of the Flagellum, a legion of Adarlan) also tries to have a deal with his father to be able to go to his lands, as Lord of Anielle. In order also to protect Dorian, since according to him he was doing all the right things. For me Chaol couldn't find what to do, he met the real Celeana and the truth was scared with what he saw and his love turned into fear. He didn't choose any side, he didn't choose Dorian completely, he didn't choose Celeana, he didn't choose rebels, he didn't choose the kingdom, he was in a tug of war and the truth was stressing me out. And then came a point where they were discovered, the king of Adarlan decided to execute Dorian's girlfriend and Dorian evidently went crazy. Dorian unleashes his magic, tells Chaol to leave and he basically runs away instead of staying to fight. And Dorian ends up getting a necklace that houses a Valg (demon) in his body as he basically goes to hell.
Ahora hablando de un personaje que a mí la verdad me encanta es Manon Blackbeak. Se nos presenta como una bruja del clan Blackbeak (o picos negros en español) que tiene 116 años de edad y la presentan como una mujer hermosa, esbelta, con un pelo blanco y ojos completamente dorados. Aquí hay que entender las brujas de este mundo viven en guerra. Hay unas brujas de un clan gigante llamado Dientes de Hierro y otras llamadas Crochan. Resulta que las Dientes de Hierro están conformada por las Blackbeak, las Yellowlegs (Piernas amarillas) y las Blueblood (sangre azul). Estas brujas en algún punto crearon una alianza y han estado cazando a las otras brujas por un territorio llamado los Yermos que en teoría son los territorios de las brujas en general. Hubo una batalla hace cientos de años atrás en donde la última reina Chrocan lanzó una maldición para que ni Crochans ni Dientes de Hierro pudieran ocupar los yermos. Y desde ese momento todas las Dientes de Hierro han estado aparte de matando las otras brujas, tratando de buscar la manera de deshacer esta maldición. Manon es la heredera del clan Blackbeak, una mujer bastante con una inteligencia brutal, bastante fuerte, además de ser la líder de un aquelarre de brujas picos negros llamado "Las Trece". Básicamente de las mejores y más letales, entre ellas la prima de Manon, siendo su segunda al mando, ya que cada una tiene un rango. La trama de las brujas en este punto de la historia es que el rey las convoca para que ella sea jinetes de unos Givermos, básicamente como unos dragones, los cuales han sido creados en un territorio de este reino oculto y el trato es que si ellas ganan la guerra que se vienen en algún punto el rey va a devolver su territorio que tanto necesitan.
Now talking about a character that I really love is Manon Blackbeak. She is presented as a witch of the Blackbeak clan (or black beaks in Spanish) who is 116 years old and is presented as a beautiful, slender woman with white hair and completely golden eyes. Here it is necessary to understand the witches of this world live in war. There are some witches of a giant clan called Iron Teeth and others called Crochan. It turns out that the Iron Teeth are made up of the Blackbeak, the Yellowlegs and the Bluebloods. These witches at some point created an alliance and have been hunting the other witches across a territory called the Wastes which in theory are the witches' territories in general. There was a battle hundreds of years ago where the last Chrocan queen cast a curse so that neither Crochans nor Iron Teeth could occupy the Wastelands. And since that time all the Iron Teeth have been apart from killing the other witches, trying to find a way to undo this curse. Manon is the heiress of the Blackbeak clan, a woman with a brutal intelligence, quite strong, besides being the leader of a coven of black beaked witches called "The Thirteen". Basically of the best and most lethal, among them Manon's cousin, being her second in command, since each one has a rank. The plot of the witches at this point in the story is that the king summons them to be riders of some Givermos, basically like dragons, which have been created in a territory of this hidden kingdom and the deal is that if they win the war that is coming at some point the king will return their territory that they need so much.
Y por último, pero no menos importante, vamos a hablar de la trama de nuestra protagonista de esta historia, nuestra reina y la mujer más increíble de todo este libro desde mi punto de vista. Ella fue enviada a Wendlyn, donde estuvo vagando porque ella se negó a matar a sus primos, la realeza Ashryver. Y terminó vagando por este continente con hambre y de todo un poco, hasta que un guerrero Hada la encontró y básicamente por órdenes de la reina, su tía Maeve, se la lleva a rastras hacia Mistwars. Básicamente Celeana en la reunión que tiene con la reina le pide que le dé información sobre las llaves del Wyrd, que es lo que está buscando para poder acabar con el mal que hay en el Castillo del reino y tal, pero la reina le ordena que entrene, que se convierta en una verdadera Hada y que afronte ser Aelin y no la asesina Celeana. Le ordea a Rowan entrenarla y que cuando ya esté lista que vaya a buscar respuestas en Dorallene. Entonces cuando nuestro príncipe la lleva a una fortaleza y empiezan a entrenar, es donde empieza lo bueno. Aelin y Rowan se llevaban horriblemente mal, peleaba como perros y gatos. Al principio tuvieron discusiones muy fuertes, él la cuestionaba, ella le respondía, luego andaban como la ley del hielo y después de tener muchísimos encontronazos entre ellos mismos y sin hacer demasiados spoiler porque de verdad que una de las cosas más importantes para el desarrollo de personajes de Celeana/Aelin. Básicamente, terminan volviéndose un poco amigos, incluso se hacen Carraman, esto es como algunos guerreros tienen vínculo como almas gemelas de batalla. Al final Aelin logra enfrentarse con Maeve, con palabras, y libra a Rowan del juramento de sangre, dejándolo libre, y él decide irse con ella, como Carraman y caballero de su corte.
And last but not least, let's talk about the plot of our protagonist of this story, our queen and the most amazing woman in this whole book from my point of view. She was sent to Wendlyn, where she was wandering because she refused to kill her cousins, the Ashryver royalty. And she ended up wandering around this continent hungry and a little bit of everything, until a Faerie warrior found her and basically on the orders of the queen, her aunt Maeve, drags her off to Mistwars. Basically Celeana in the meeting she has with the queen asks her to give her information about the keys of the Wyrd, which is what she is looking for to be able to end the evil in the Castle of the kingdom and such, but the queen orders her to train, to become a real Fairy and to face being Aelin and not the murderer Celeana. She orders Rowan to train her and when she is ready to go to Dorallene to look for answers. Then when our prince takes her to a fortress and they start training, that's where the good stuff starts. Aelin and Rowan got along horribly, they fought like cats and dogs. At the beginning they had very strong arguments, he questioned her, she answered him, then they were like the law of ice and after having a lot of clashes between themselves and without making too many spoilers because really one of the most important things for the development of Celeana/Aelin's characters. Basically, they end up becoming a little bit friends, they even become Carraman, this is how some warriors have bond as battle soul mates. In the end Aelin manages to stand up to Maeve, with words, and frees Rowan from the blood oath, setting him free, and he decides to go with her, as a Carraman and knight of her court.
Opiniones finales sobre este libro es que es genial, es una obra de arte, yo nunca había leído una historia con tantos puntos de vista al mismo tiempo que ocurren en la misma línea temporal que mientras está pasando una cosa por otro continente está sucediendo otra. Y todo es canon, todo es la trama principal y yo nunca había leído algo así primera vez con Sarah J Mass. Honestamente, Estoy impresionada y creo que este libro fue el que me hizo amar por completo toda la saga sin conocer lo que se venía por delante, Trono de Cristal, el primer libro, me gustó muchísimo, es un libro bastante descriptivo. Corona de medianoche fue que me hizo llorar un poco que me hizo conocer el corazón de Celeana, me hizo amar por completo a Dorian, me hizo comenzar a medio detestar Chaol y creo que los primeros dos libros son introductorios y no me parece que sea nada malo simplemente es característica de esta saga, pero creo que heredera de fuego es uno de los más impresionantes porque a pesar de qué también es un poco introductorio porque nos colocan al personaje de Manon, a Aedion del cual no les hable mucho y muy poco nos muestran a Dorian y a Chaol. Pero honestamente es buenísimo tener mucha acción al mismo tiempo, lo mejor de todo es el descubrimiento de Celeana y como ella pasa a ser nuevamente Aelin y es genial. Yo le doy cinco estrellas y si ustedes quieren leerlo estoy segura de que no se van a arrepentir, y yo voy a dejar esta reseña hasta aquí porque puedo pasar horas hablando sobre, así que nos leemos pronto para la reseña del próximo libro de estasaga!
Final opinions about this book is that it's great, it's a work of art, I had never read a story with so many points of view at the same time occurring in the same timeline that while one thing is happening on another continent another is happening. And everything is canon, everything is the main plot and I had never read something like this for the first time with Sarah J Mass. Honestly, I'm blown away and I think this book was the one that made me completely love the whole saga without knowing what was coming up, Throne of Glass, the first book, I really liked it, it's a pretty descriptive book. Crown of Midnight made me cry a little, it made me know Celeana's heart, it made me love Dorian completely, it made me start to hate Chaol and I think the first two books are introductory and I don't think it's a bad thing, it's just a characteristic of this saga, but I think Heiress of Fire is one of the most impressive because even though it's also a little introductory because they introduce Manon's character, Aedion which I didn't tell you much about and very little they show us Dorian and Chaol. But honestly it's great to have a lot of action at the same time, the best of all is the discovery of Celeana and how she becomes Aelin again and it's great. I give it five stars and if you want to read it I'm sure you won't regret it, and I'm going to leave this review until here because I can spend hours talking about it, so see you soon for the review of the next book of this saga!

Awwwww tu reseña me recordó lo mucho que ame esta saga ,y totalmente de acuerdo contigo ,mira yo inicie queriendo a chaol en el primer libro, Dorian y
Celeana no me agradaron mucho , pero a medida que vamos para el segundo y tercer libro , ya Aelin y Dorian junto a su primo consiguieron mi corazón ,y bye bye chaol , considero lo mismo que tú idealizo tanto a Celeana que cuando se dió cuenta de que no la conocía se asustó ,algo totalmente diferente a la dinámica de Rowan y Aelin .Por otro lado que puedo decir de Manon ella una total 👑 ,ya para el final de la saga más que todo fue Manon y sus increíble desarrollo lo que me hizo terminar la saga.
