Hello friends, I hope you are well, I recently started watching the continuation of the X-men series from the 90s, the best with Spiderman, and now with the new season after almost 30 years X-Men 97 is broadcast, a A true masterpiece that follows the spirit of the original series and has incorporated things that were unfinished or that were not well explained in the old series. What I like the most is the participation of Magneto, one of the most powerful mutants who has guided the mutant cause for freedom, that is why I have chosen him to draw, using the version from the comics. And as he says in the series, "Magneto was right".. I hope you like that video.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren bien, recientemente comencé a ver la continuación de la serie X-men de los 90, lo mejor junto a Spiderman, y ahora con la nueva temporada luego de casi 30 años se emite X-Men 97, una verdadera obra maestra que sigue el espíritu de la serie original y ha incorporado cosas inconclusas o que no quedaron bien explicada en la serie antigua. Lo que más me gusta es la participación de Magneto, uno de los mutantes más poderosos y que ha guiado la causa mutante por la libertad, por eso lo he escogido para dibujarlo, usando la versión de los cómics. Y como dice en la serie, "Magneto tenía razón".. Espero que les guste ese video.

I used a bill from my collection, many people who like my work have given me many bills that were worthless and out of circulation, here I used a blue one because I think it would make a good contrast with the red color of the mutant uniform of Magneto.
Utilicé un billete de mi colección, muchas personas que les gusta mi trabajo me han regalado muchos billetes de los que quedaron sin valor y fuera de circulación, aquí utilicé uno de coloración azul porque creo que haría un buen contraste con el color rojo del uniforme mutante de Magneto.

The next step was to start painting the helmet, which I made a red base on which I then added an orange tone to differentiate certain parts. The objective is to make reflections on the helmet since it is metallic, so between the red-orange values I am also adding yellow to clarify.
EL paso siguiente fue comenzar a pintar el casco, el cual hice una base de color rojo sobre el cual fui luego agregando un tono naranja para diferenciar ciertas partes. El objetivo es hacer reflejos en el casco ya que es metálico, así que entre los valores rojo-naranja voy agregando también amarillo para aclarar.

Next I add dark color and in this way the helmet takes on volume and contrast. Another color that the uniform and therefore Magneto's helmet has, is lilac around the edges, which blends with the rest of the uniform. I make this tone by mixing purple with white and adding the color little by little with a soft brush.
Seguidamente voy agregando color oscuro y de esa manera el casco va tomando volumen y contraste. Otro color que lleva el uniforme y por ende el casco de Magneto, es color lila por los bordes, que se mezcla con el resto del uniforme. Este tono lo hago mezclando púrpura con blanco y agregando el color poco a poco con un pincel suave.

The final step is to use the color black, I think that all these brush strokes would have looked better with a marker with a very fine tip, but I have not been able to find one in the store where I always go, they are scarce, so I use the thinnest brush and with a very smooth step I make all the lines. To achieve the comic style, the secret is to make many lines, as if it were a simple sketch. After this the painting was finished.
El paso final es utilizar el color negro, pienso que todos estas pinceladas me hubieran quedado mejor con un marcador con punta muy fina, pero no he podio encontrar uno en la tienda donde siempre voy, están escasos, por lo que utilizo el pincel más fino y con un paso muy suave hago todas las líneas. Para lograr el estilo cómic, el secreto es en hacer muchas líneas, como si fuera un simple boceto. Después de esto la pintura quedó finalizada.

Así quedo la pintura de Lord Magneto, el mutante lider de la resistencia, si no han visto la serie, de verdad que se las recomiendo, tiene de todo, y es para personas maduras, creo que no deberian verla los niños, ya que tiene un nivel alto de violencia, pero para aquellos que siempre les han gustado la historia de cómics, aquí encontraran una buena adaptación. Magneto es un personaje muy carismático, si te sitúas en la historia como tal, difícilmente lo considerarías como el villano.
En parte terminarías viendo que es una víctima de la discriminación de la sociedad.
