Happy Sunday brethren in the household of God. It is another Sunday! It was a time to fellowship together in the house of God, the church. I believe that you were in church to give thanks and to worship God.
Gathering Together
Acts 20:7 (KJV) And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
There is always joy and love Flowing among us when we come together in fellowship. The Bible has admonished us not to neglect the gathering together as a church. This is why joining church is compulsory for anyone who wants to do the teachings of Jesus. When we come together, we observe each other to provoke unto good works. We extends our hands of love and care towards one another when we come together in gatherings.
Listening To The Teachings Of Jesus
Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
When we come together, we are taught the doctrines of Jesus Christ. We come to listen and receive understanding so that we will live our lives according to the commandments of God.
Jesus Christ is our Teacher whom God sent to reveal to us the doctrines of God. We are commanded by God to listen to Him. When we come together, we study again from the word of God so that we will be able to live and praise God.
