In cardiology unit 2 of the Clinical Hospital where I work we constantly carry out screening sessions, this time it was for Hyperglycemia.
It is essential to take care of our cardiovascular health and prevent diseases, which is why we invite the general community to participate in these events, through the history of social networks, where we announce the date and time.
We carried out the latter yesterday, May 16 of this year, we have the sponsorship of Leti laboratories, who kindly brought a Glucometer to measure blood glucose for the first 20 patients who will arrive, at the end of the test they were also given a delicious sugar free cookies.
Thank God the day was a success, it was carried out in an organized manner, during the first hours of the morning since the patients had to preferably be fasting, some of the patients had their blood glucose well controlled, others not so much, which were properly oriented.
This is a great opportunity for patients to help take care of their cardiovascular health.

Feliz Viernes mis queridos amigos de @estilodevida, como están espero que bien en el nombre de Dios, les envío un fuerte abrazo a todos.
En la unidad de cardiología 2 del Hospital Clínico donde trabajo, realizamos constantemente jornadas de despistaje, esta vez fue de Hiperglicemia.
Es fundamental cuidar nuestra salud cardiovascular y prevenir enfermedades, por eso invitamos a participar a la comunidad en general en estos eventos, atraves de historia de las redes sociales, en donde anunciamos la fecha y la hora.
Esta última la realizamos el día de ayer 16 de mayo del presente año, contamos con el patrocinio del laboratorios Leti, quienes amablemente trajeron un Glucometro para medir la glucemia a los primeros 20 pacientes que llegarán, al terminar la prueba también se le entregaban una ricas galletas sin azúcar.
Gracias a Dios la jornada fue un éxito, se llevó a cabo de manera organizada, durante las primeras horas de la mañana ya que los pacientes debían estar en ayunas preferiblemente, algunos de los pacientes tenían su glucemia bien controlada otros no tanto, los cuales fueron debidamente orientados.
Esta es una gran oportunidad que se les brinda a los pacientes para ayudar a cuidar salud cardiovascular.
