I lef.t home at noon. The sun was scorching hot, and contemplating bringing an umbrella, I got my jacket.
Securing a ride to the terminal was a challenge. I was already bathing in sweat as the heat seeped into my skin. Backing out is an option as I can feel that my nose is hurting, feeling that blood may gush out at any moment.
But the excitement of seeing my friends win over such matters. It has been a year since I last saw them, and chances of not meeting may arise in the future.
Around 1:00 PM, I secured a bus ride going to Makati. Constantly, monitoring the discord group chat to know where they are, my phone's battery is going crazy as it drains faster than it used to be. I am using my mobile data, and there's nothing to do besides sleeping and playing with my mobile phone.

Good thing that there's a socket for a charger in the bus. I enjoyed my ride without worrying about my battery. It is a three-hour travel including the traffic, hence I just looked at the roadside from time to time.
I arrived four in the afternoon and waited for people to confirm that they were in the location and after confirming that Adam and the rest were already there I booked a Grab ride to the venue.
Finding the place was quite hard, as I roam around the vicinity, there's no signage of the venue and I overlooked a small detail to check the pattern of the streets. There I noticed a small gate that had the address of the location, I entered and I was greeted by Adam.
@romeskie was also in the venue together with @wittyzell. @intoy.bugoy and @akumagai we had some random chat and got a clarification from Intoy that he is now in Batangas for work indefinitely.
Rome mentioned that our shirts were already available and being soaked in sweat, I immediately changed my clothes.
I picked large for the size of my shirt because I am still in my in-denial phase, but after fitting it, I told Rome that I should have picked XL instead.
Food delivery arrived momentarily and people started to arrive. @lhes was my seatmate almost the whole time of the event. Then @cthings together with @gabbiebi, @demotry arrived together with @xanreo and her aunt, @kothy with his boyfriend Dave and lastly @scion02b

The games started with some simple getting-to-know-you exercises from Rome and Witty. They gave us a piece of paper that had some questionnaires and one by one we answered.
There's also a human bingo card that was played, the same as last year, and with the same result, C won 1st place. I ranked third in the game and didn't get any prize, but I had a chance as I completely forgot that Rome is a bookworm, and she is the last person I need to sign my card.
We also had the awarding of members who joined. The best dressed award to which @kothy won, the nonchalant award went to @scion02b and the OA award went to @akumagai.
After the awarding, staff members announced we could eat. I was still full at that time as I ate something along the way because the travel time was too long but overall I enjoyed my meal. If I had some microwaveable containers with me, I might have packed out some food as there's a ton of food available for everyone. ( I made a mental note just in case we will have another one next year and that is to bring extra containers)
While everyone's eating and having a chat, since there's still a contest for karaoke I key-in my entry, my go-to song which is Stupid Luv by Salbakuta and got the 1st 100 in the night.
Last year's meet-up I also got 100 and if you will be asking if I sing well. The answer's already obvious 🙄

Ten o'clock is fast approaching and as much as I want to stay, I also need to go home. Adam asked if I could stay longer but told him that I could not and that maybe once he had his own family he could understand why I needed to leave.
I booked a grab to the nearest terminal home and took a nap at my parent's house as there was no public transportation available to San Pablo anymore.

The night ended well and I was safe and sound. I enjoyed the moments that I was together with them and hopefully, by next year if we have another, I can bring April and Dyn-dyn so that I can do overnight with the guys.
P.S. @cindee08 your mug rocks! I have used it always while I am drinking my coffee ever since I unboxed it last Monday.
