I was supposed to go shopping today but it was windy so I was afraid the cherry blossoms might not last long. You know, they’ll fall because of the strong wind. So I postponed my window shopping and went to see the cherry blossoms on the other side of Tokyo.
It was my first time to wander in this peaceful neighborhood so I took my time. I was also checking if this would be a good place to move. In the end, I don’t think it suited my taste.
On the way to the riverside where the cherry blossoms were, I passed by an elementary school and in their nearby field, many boys were practicing. They were fun to watch, so enthusiastic and energetic. I think when you’re young, you tend to display being active and full of energy. Maybe I did when I was young? I used to roam around the big village where I grew up. Not really into sports when I was young although I tried badminton but didn’t work out. Some childhood memories are still left to think and reflect on but most are already gone, can’t recall them anymore.
I was just looking at these young kids but my mind had left Tokyo already. LOL
The riverside’s just around here. I was surprised to see a blue bridge here though. Although I researched about the riverside park, I didn’t know about the bridge. It was only for people and bicycles. Really cool. Made me remember the days when I lived in Osaka. There were many bridges there too.
I’ll share more of this place in another post. Hopefully I can find the inspiration to write about it. 😅
After sunbathing out in the afternoon sun, I headed to Ginza to check a brand I’ve been researching for the past weeks. In the end, I got a bit disappointed of the thing I wanted to see. I think it’s nice but it didn’t look like my style. So no shopping. Wallet safe.
Saw these art display on the Ginza underground. Last time I was here it was different. Maybe they change every month? The artworks look cool and awesome I think! And it’s so nice that it’s free to look at!
I didn’t stay long in Ginza because I had to meet @appleeatingapple in Shinjuku. Tonight we’re having a dinner date at Hilton. Her treat. Although she didn’t really pay for it. Thanks for the lovely dinner polst!
I have no idea what this was, and I didn’t get it. I’m not into beans and it doesn’t look appealing to my tastebuds.
I wasn’t able to take more photos of the other food but you could probably guess what they serve from my plate. I love the thin meat (probably a thin steak?), the white fish, and the gnocchi and broccoli in white sauce. Can you pinpoint them in my plate?
And yes, this was a buffet dinner. The calories I burned from walking and walking were gone because of the buffet. 😅 Probably I gained more because of the instragammable sweets corner.
This is the “Spring Special Buffet” of the Marble Lounge in Hilton Tokyo. Last time I remembered we also came here with our other friends for their spring buffet. It was full of people at lunch time but this time, not too long of a queue for dinner.
Our night ended with Apple’s shopping. 😂 I didn’t buy anything and wow, I was amazed at myself for not impulsively buying anything. But now, at home, I’m looking at shopping sites. LOL

It's been windy lately! I have hay fever, albeit mild, so it's a little hard for me to get over my symptoms.
