🏝 Fuerteventura - A Photo Diary πŸ“Έ Day 6

in Photography Lovers β€’ 8 months ago

It' been a while since I posted the last episode from this series. I was hoping to finish it in one continuous sequence with one post per week but somehow summer holidays came in between. But now I'm back and here it is: the next part of my Fuerte photo diary. If you like to catch up you'll find the previous reports here: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5.

Stranded on distant shores. I have to find wood to build me a shelter before night falls. Who knows what creatures come crawling out of the rocks at night.

These are the kind of thoughts that run through my head on an island like this. I hardly know a more stimulating environment than the one that Fuerteventura offers. Should I ever write a book, I would try to retreat here.

Each of these lava rocks were once hurled out of a volcano and after a mile wide parabolic flight they landed where they still lie today. That's at least what I like to think. Tides have likely moved them around a bit since then.

Can you see the pirate ship that is just about to come around the cliff?

Time to man the tower and get the cannons ready.

Surely this port will have a nice seafood restaurant where I can continue spinning my thoughts on distant shores, lava rocks and pirates. Let's have a look.

Thanks for following along and see you back next time πŸ‘‹.

Oh I can see why you would retreat to this little paradise to write a book. It would overcome any writer's block. What a place of contrasting beauty and tranquility

One thing is certain, even to the most distant observer: the sight of the landscape you have captured in your photographs is truly an inspiration for peak performance.
This is where the idea of letting these impressions flow into lines and preserving them in two book covers comes from. The only question is whether the writer's attraction is to mysticism, or is it to vision and fiction?
Both of them seem to me to be equally exciting, as are the effects and impressions of your photographic documents.

I think I would try my luck with fiction. Always looking forward reading your comments!

I gratefully accept it as a compliment in the present tense.
If you have been given the best possible input beforehand, it is not difficult to comment.

Great shots. I still don't see the pirate ship though...

Oh, what camera did you use for taking the pics?

I was just playing with my imagination;)

Thanks for the visit!

I took these photos with my iPhone 13.

This is definitely nurturing for the brain!! Both the photos for us the viewers and the real landscape for you over there. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Damn that skeleton is so cool 🦴🩻

Some of these would make great template photos (actually all of them 🌈).

A few of them are in the queue already!

Awesome shot's, as well as awesome looking beach. Thanks for sharing

Hello dear friend @shaka good morning
What a beautiful paradise, without a doubt the ideal place to retire and start writing a book.
I appreciate that you have let us know these beautiful photographs of this true paradise.
Have a happy and prosperous week

These are really great shots my friend. I love every bit of it.
The serenity of the environment would definitely be top notch.

Lava rocks are clouds - you have captured their photo in a way that these are looking like they both are approaching each other to hug.
You can write poetry about it. You have so poetic thoughts.

Beautiful sky 😍

Oh my god, the fifth and sixth photos are simply beautiful. A very interesting point of view was chosen for the photos, which really takes you into the depth of the landscape. I can believe this is so soothing that you don't think about anything else.

Good lord those are some gorgeous shots! What a view.

I spent a good part of the time looking for the pirate ship, and for a moment, I could swear I was seeing it. What our mind does to us, right? LOL Amazing photos!!
