Vermont Eclipse

Totality

We took a trip yesterday from our home on the edge of totality to Enosburg Falls for 3 minutes and 30 seconds of totality. Here's a peak of the photography but haven't downloaded and processed the images yet.

Dawn

I do have some shots of the horizon during totality.

Twilight

It was like twilight.

Silhouettes

Very other worldly experience. Its my second eclipse. Totally worth the effort.

And a fun time lapse.

Those are some awesome images. Love the time lapse too :) We enjoyed four minutes of totality in Fredericksburg, Texas. Clouds obscured most of the eclipse, but cheers would erupt when we were blessed with a few seconds of clearing between the clouds. I photographed the Ring of Fire Eclipse last October but, given the weather, I didn't bother taking a camera yesterday. I did take this shot of totality with my iPhone:

Thanks. It is a really cool event. Ring of Fire pictures are cool. I've got some like that too. We were low budget, we cut up an old x-ray and put it over camera lens for a solar filter 😊

Oh cool... We were close I was in Frelighsburg. Really cool but I wasn't equipped to take photos, I just watched and enjoyed.

!PIZZA

Watch and enjoy was my mantra but some of the people I was with wanted to try photos

PIZZA!

Cool landscapes! The star in the sky is probably a planet.

Thanks. The planets did come out Venus and Jupiter were visible to the naked eye. I think with binoculars you could see more.

Great pictures! Everyone has pictures of the sun but I like how you captured the ambience

Thanks! it was really cool. The moment of totality when you can take off the eclipse glasses and the sun goes dark is really awesome

i saw that in some places people had a sunset and sunrise at the same time!! that was incredible!

It was truly incredible. Definitely worth it to seek one out in your lifetime.

It is great to witness something like this.
I like the time-lapse 😎 it shows the twilight very well.
Cool!

It was very cool. We saw the 2017 eclipse in Oregon too. Very strange and cool phenomenon

Awesome… I hope the next one to be able to see too. 😎
