Every moment could be fun. Even the time we spent doing household chores. The ones we spent playing around. The ones we spent in the classroom. The ones we spent in church gatherings. All of them could be very memorable. But one’s choice of best moment could depend on how one cherished such moments.
The best moments of fun in my life as a child was when we used to have a children's variety service in my local home church. That day used to be my happiest day. It was my happiest day because on that day I am sure of having a new dress. Most of my cherished dresses used to come from that events. The event was usually observed during Easter festive season. Then the children will gather for a three days camp out. The camp out was always full of fun.
During the camp out we were taught several lessons both social and religious. There were also games and recreational activities. Everything used to be fun and excitement.
On the Sunday when we are rounding up the camp out, the children were the ones officiating the church service that day. We all will go and learn Bible verses for recitation. Also, there were dramas and song presentations. I can even narrate all, the program used to be great fun and excitement.
I used to enjoy those moments when I and my friends will compete on who could recite more verses of the Bible. Atimes, we will also learn other recitations aside from Bible verses to present. The drama presentations were always fun. Not many of the children were good at acting dramas. Most of us were so shy then. I happened to be one of them.
The special day used to be really fun me. On that day adults will happily sit down and get entertained by us the children. Most of us will try to spice up our presentation so that we could win their admirations. Most of those admirations used to earn us money because they will come out and spray money on us will we are presenting.
Also, on such day my father used to allow to visit our friends. We usually have free day in such day without any rules and restrictions. Our joy used to be full on such day. When I was a child I cherished this event that is why it remains my most cherished childhood memory.
