Hola chicos. Hoy les muestro el proceso de creación de las insignias de @hiverun, que fueron realizadas con IA en Midjourney.
Tenía mucho tiempo sin usar IA, de ninguna naturaleza. Siempre lo que más me ha gustado es la generación de imagen y seguramente porque soy diseñador gráfico; además un amante de la comunicación visual. Sin embargo había dejado abandonado a midjourney, en parte porque no me a meritaba pagar $10 mensuales para no usarlo en algo productivo, aunque como pasatiempo o para practicar procesos creativos es maravillosa.
Al volver descubrí varias novedades y que tuve que aprender, viendo tutoriales de Youtube, que de hecho debo repasarlos para que se me graben todos los adelantos. El más importante es que ya se puede generar imágenes desde la web pricipal, aparte de Discord. Para eso la cuenta debe haber generado más de mil imágenes y nuestra cuenta ya tenía ese marcador.
Desde la web uno puede tomar imágenes para usarlas como referencias, o tan solo su estilo. Esto me ayudó muchísimo para crear insignias con la misma línea de diseño.
Hi guys. Today I show you the process of creating @hiverun's badges, which were made with AI in Midjourney.
I had a long time without using AI, of any nature. I've always liked image generation the most and probably because I'm a graphic designer; also a lover of visual communication. However, I had abandoned midjourney, partly because I didn't deserve to pay $10 a month not to use it for something productive, although as a hobby or to practice creative processes it is wonderful.
When I came back I discovered several new features that I had to learn, watching tutorials on Youtube, which in fact I have to review them so that I can record all the advances. The most important is that it is now possible to generate images from the main website, apart from Discord. For that the account must have generated more than a thousand images and our account already had that marker.
From the web you can take images to use them as references, or just your style. This helped me a lot to create badges with the same design line.
Comencé siempre con la Tortuga. Recordemos que en @hiverun tenemos roles por acumulación de kilómetros. Estos son:
- Tortuga
- Liebre
- Avestruz
- Galgo
- Guepardo
La Tortuga fue la que usé para comenzar a "bocetear" con cualquier estilo. El primero que quise probar fue estilo de logo minimalista. Me gustó pero quería algo con más personalidad y que tuviera dinamismo y velocidad.
I always started with the Turtle. Let's remember that in @hiverun we have roles by accumulation of kilometers. These are:
- Tortoise
- Hare
- Ostrich
- Greyhound
- Cheetah
The Tortoise was the one I used to start "sketching" with any style. The first one I wanted to try was a minimalist logo style. I liked it but I wanted something with more personality and that had dynamism and speed.
Pensé que sería interesante probar algo de caricatura, pero tuve resultados demasiados infantiles. Hay unos con excesiva ternura jajaja.
I thought it would be interesting to try something cartoonish, but I got too childish results. There are some with excessive tenderness hahaha.
Vi un estilo bien colorido y que se podría sintetizar, para que se vea más minimalista. Así que probé con él. Sin embargo también me gustó uno de estilo tinta china que tenía algo de dinamismo. Con este trabajé más y me encantó la tortuga con el agua salpicando. Quería replicar esto en los otros animales.
I saw a style that was colorful and could be synthesized, to make it look more minimalist. So I tried it. However, I also liked a Chinese ink style that had some dynamism. This one I worked with more and loved the turtle with the water splashing. I wanted to replicate this on the other animals.
Mientras hacía las pruebas de este estilo, se me ocurrió darle un promnt directo como: "vector simple". Me dio los cuatro resultados que ven abajo del galgo, ya con tonos naranjas. Tomé el tercero que me encantó e hice las pruebas. Así fue como me salieron esas bellezas. Usando el tercer perro, logré un estilo bellísimo.
While testing this style, it occurred to me to give it a direct promnt like: "simple vector". It gave me the four results you see below the greyhound, already with orange tones. I took the third one that I loved and did the tests. That's how I got these beauties. Using the third dog, I achieved a beautiful style.
Vean como a la derecha sale la referencia usada que es la misma y que me dio esos resultados. Me sentía emocionado porque ya estaba viendo resultados. Sentía que me estaba acercando a lo que quería. Pensé en trabajar este estilo más para quedarnos con él. Luego reflexioné que tenía muchos trazos y elementos. Necesitaba algo similar, pero más simple y directo. Algo que tuviera al animal pero con algún elemento de líneas que le diera velocidad.
En eso me puse a navegar por los artes de otros usuarios. No veía nada que quisiera. Así que decidí usar el buscador de Midjourney y escribí "speed". Ahí fue cuando me salió esta belleza. Era todo lo que quería, incluso tenía ya los colores de Hive Run.
See how on the right the reference used is the same one that gave me those results. I felt excited because I was already seeing results. I felt I was getting closer to what I wanted. I thought about working this style more to stay with it. Then I reflected that I had a lot of strokes and elements. I needed something similar, but simpler and more direct. Something that had the animal but with some element of lines that would give it speed.
So I started browsing through the artwork of other users. I didn't see anything I wanted. So I decided to use the Midjourney search engine and typed "speed". That's when this beauty came up. It was everything I wanted, it even had the Hive Run colors already.
Teniendo esto lo único que hice, fue usar el estilo y decirle: "vector simple turtle". Así con los demás animales. Sin embargo para los otros animales usé la tercera tortuga, no la moto original, ya que esta me daría otros modelos diferentes.
Cuando vi a la Liebre, quedé enamorado. Fue lo que siempre soñé. Elegí la cuarta y después la usé para los siguientes animales. Sin embargo vi que me salían demasiadas líneas, así que volví a usar a la tortuga para los promnts. De esta manera salieron todos como quería.
Having this, the only thing I did was to use the style and say: "vector simple turtle". Like this with the other animals. However for the other animals I used the third tortoise, not the original bike, as this would give me other different models.
When I saw the Hare, I was in love. It was what I always dreamed of. I chose the fourth one and then used it for the next animals. However, I saw that I was getting too many lines, so I went back to using the tortoise for the promnts. This way they all came out the way I wanted.
Una vez elegidos los artes, me puse a trabajar en Photoshop. A todos los coloqué mirando a la derecha. Al avestruz le eliminé las patas y al galgo lo aumenté de tamaño. A la liebre la giré un poco, ya que estaba mirando muy abajo.
A todos los encerré en un círculo que sobrepasara al cintillo del banner. Añadí una gradación de negro a rojo e incluí el logo de @hiverun.
Once the arts were chosen, I started working in Photoshop. I placed them all looking to the right. I removed the ostrich's legs and increased the greyhound's size. I rotated the hare a bit, since it was looking too low.
I enclosed them all in a circle that went beyond the banner headband. I added a gradation from black to red and included the @hiverun logo.
Para finalizar @vandres incorporó las tipografías y así quedó 😍. Ya quiero hacerme una camisa, visera y otros souvenir con mi insignia, pero debería esperar a llegar a Guepardo. Para eso faltan muchos kilómetros 😩
Finally @vandres added the fonts and this is how it looked 😍. I already want to make a shirt, visor and other souvenirs with my badge, but I should wait until I get to Guepardo. That's many kilometers away 😩.

Ver qué no fue tan sencillo el proceso, bastante trabajado para llegar al resultado.
No es que sea difícil, sino que lleva su tiempo. Si te gusta se te pasa volando 😁
Un gran trabajo y aunque son increíbles de verdad que era difícil pensar en todo el proceso para lograrlo

Siempre le encuentro detalles a las iamgenes creadas por IA, esta vez son pocos, bastante pocos; Creo que al decir insignias pierde la necesidad de ser adaptable como un logo, y lo unico que me preocuparia es reproducir estos simbolos en un formato simple como el de bordado, pero es algo que en Serigrafia, Estampado e incluso el nuevo DTF va a funcionar de forma genial, la paleta de colores es algo que SIEMPRE va a funcionar, incluso con esos tonos naranja que tienen algunos...
Yo desde aquí te lanzo la idea de unos llaveros circulares a modo medalla, e incluso las propias medallas hechas en impresión 3D o Acrilico, y que sean un coleccionable para los miembro.s

Para bordado se podría vectorizar a dos colores o tres colores, quitando degradé
Esos diseños quedaron brutales, si que te la comiste, yo también quiero mandar hacer mi camisa y vicera con mi insignia, espero que este año llegue a Guepardo, pero con las ganas que voy, no me daré por vencida. Pronto me actívate.
Yo también he flojeado, pero ya ese es mi nivel más bajo, o sea que toqué fondo jajajajaj lo que queda es subir.
