Exploring the Hidden Beach at Punta San Remigio

Last Sunday it was a scheduled action group meeting with our group and our host for last week's scheduled meeting was our AGM leader. Instead of holding the meeting in their house, they preferred to hold it at the hidden beach of Punta, San Remigio, Cebu. This beach was owned by our previous parish priest in our town who was a native also in our municipality. From Poblacion, it is more or less 3.5 km. You can ride a car or motorcycle to go there! This beach house can be also a rest house or you can stay here overnight. There's no exact amount for rent instead you can give cash in the form of a donation. Some will also attend mass if the owner conducts a mass in this area. This was my first time visiting the place so I took a photo while walking around. It's quite peaceful and relaxing. All made of bamboo and nipa thus making it cool and unique.

It was a high tide when we came, and the waves kept on kissing the shore while the wind blew. I was looking at the horizon of the farthest shore in the distance thinking about the beauty and the mystery of the seas and ocean. The good and worst memories of the sea sink in my mind. That was my first time visiting a seashore looking at the sea after the death of my father. I can see how mysterious the sea is and how dangerous it is when it's high tide. Upon looking at the waves many memories would come in into my mind.

After our meeting, IT was already a low tide and the sun's set slowly. I saw some women and men who went to the sea for beachcombing. This place was a source of sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and seashells.
