Impossible to forget The Peruvian Andes. Part of the Andes mountain range. Without being certain, I think it is the most extensive mountain range in the world, which starts from the south of Argentina and Chile to Peru, passing through all the countries of South America. This mountain range shelters an infinity of fauna and flora as well as an infinity of contrasting climates. A lot of things happen around the mountain range and I was aware of that when I came to visit this incredible place and I want to tell you what I learned.
The mountain of seven colors of Palccoyo is located in the town of "Palccoyo" at 4 900 meters above sea level near the snowy Ausangate, in the Cordillera of the Andes of Peru in the district of Checacupe, province of Canchis in the region of Cusco. One of the advantages of visiting this mountain of seven colors is that it has a hike with a moderate difficulty so it is very easy to access, this makes the hike simpler and less time consuming, so those who have a very extensive itinerary and do not like to spend a lot of time in this type of excursions but still want to visit it, can do it.
In this beautiful place you can be surprised by everything. Mainly its colors are something shocking and really beautiful but besides this, you can find llamas, alpaca, Vizcachas and we were lucky on this trip to meet the famous bird, King of the Andes, the condor. It is shocking to see the largest bird on the planet gliding around looking at me and making me feel so insignificant and so much a visitor in his land. I honestly don't know how many meters tall it is, but I know it is the largest bird on earth.
One of the things that felt quite a lot about this trip was the rush. I remember that when we arrived in Cusco it took me 2 days to get used to the altitude, I think that without taking that time to acclimatize to the altitude I would not have been able to make this trip because although it is not as demanding as climbing any other mountain, the truth is that the altitude can be difficult and you can have a very bad time if you do not take the necessary precautions and do not give importance to it. As the heat is dry, you don't feel the temperature too much and you get overconfident. One of the guys got sunburnt and we ended up buying a lot of antibiotics to cure him because he hurt all his skin.
A very good anecdote but one to keep in mind. When you come down from a tough mountain hike in Peru, it is not advisable to drink a beer as if it were water as soon as you get off. Better to wait a bit and wait because otherwise, it can happen to you like my friend who drank 2 tall beers in a row because he was very thirsty and in less than 10 minutes he was completely decomposed and it was a complete mess.

Imposibles de olvidar Los Andes Peruanos. Parte de la cordillera de los andes. Sin tener la certeza, creo que es el cordón montañoso más extenso del mundo, que nace desde el sur de Argentina y Chile hasta Perú, pasando por todos los países de Sudamérica. Este cordón cordillerano cobija infinidad de fauna y flora así como también contrasta infinidad de climas. Alrededor de la cordillera pasan muchísimas cosas y de eso fui consciente cuando vine de visita a este increíble lugar del cual les quiero contar lo que aprendí.
La montaña de siete colores de Palccoyo está ubicado en el poblado de “Palccoyo” a 4 900 mts de altura cerca al nevado Ausangate, en la Cordillera de los Andes del Perú en el distrito de Checacupe, provincia de Canchis en la región del Cusco. Una de las ventajas que tiene visitar esta montaña de siete colores es que tiene un caminata con una dificultad moderada entonces es de muy simple acceso esto hace la caminata más simple y de menor tiempo entonces quienes tiene un itinerario muy extenso y no les gusta explayarse mucho en este tipo de excursiones pero aun asi quieren visitarla, puedo hacerlo.
En este lugar tan hermoso te podes sorprender con todo. Principalmente sus colores son algo impactante y realmente hermoso pero además de esto, te puedes encontrar con llamas, alpaca, También con Vizcachas y nosotros tuvimos la suerte en este viaje de encontrarnos con el famoso entre las aves, Rey de Los Andes, el cóndor. Es impactante ver al ave más grande sobre el planeta planeando mirándome y haciéndome sentir tan insignificante y tan visitante en su tierra. No sé sinceramente cuántos metros mide, pero sé que es la más grande sobre la tierra.
Una de las cosas que se sintieron bastante sobre este viaje fue el apunamiento. Me acuerdo que cuando llegamos a Cusco me llevo 2 días acostumbrarme a la altura, creo que sin tomarme ese tiempo par aclimatarme a la altura no hubiera podido hacer este viaje porque si bien no es una exigencia extrema como subir algún otra montaña lo cierto es que la altura te puede jugar difícil y podes pasarla muy mal si no tomas los recaudos necesarios y no le das importancia. Como el calor es seco, no se siente mucho la temperatura y te confías, uno de los chicos se quemó todo con el sol y terminamos compramos un montón de antibióticos para curarlo porque se lastimó toda la piel.
Una anécdota muy buena pero para tener en cuenta. Cuando bajas de una caminata fuerte de montaña en Perú, no es recomendable tomarte una cerveza como si fuera agua apenas bajas. Mejor esperar un poco y esperar porque sino, te puede pasar como mi amigo que se tomó 2 altas seguidas de cerveza porque tenía mucha sed y en menos de 10 minutos estaba completamente descompuesto y fue un papelón completo.
