The peaches are ON...in Southern Utah! Waves of fruit coming off the trees right ...

... now and this peach wave is my favorite!!!!! Harveting a few dozen a day and eating them fresh. We also intend on making peach mead/melomel. Mead is the fizzy lifting drink of the food forest. ;) This is the Bonanaza dwarf peach. I’ll post more info on her genetics below. All the peaches in our area fell off from too much rain apparently. We had an extra wet winter and spring. Do you have problems with that in Utah? Is that a thing?

yah...i've noticed some cultivars....drop their fruit depending on soil conditions. weather etc. the extra rains didn't stop ours this year though. you've prepped your forest RIGHT bro. swales on contour. :)

I was just up in northern michigan and the peaches were starting to ripen. But its mostly cherry season up there right now.
