Accepting synthography as art

Synthography isn't as sinister as you think...

it introduces new ways of creativity and expression. It's a collaboration between human artists and algorithms, leading to unique outcomes that wouldn't exist otherwise. Sure, there are social hurdles to understanding AI art. Some people may question its authenticity, believing that creativity should be solely human. Additionally, the lack of traditional artistic process might make it harder for some to appreciate.

Similar skepticism existed with other forms of art, like photography. When photography emerged, it was met with resistance from those who believed it wasn't a "real" art form. The shift from painting to photography as a means of capturing reality posed challenges to conventional notions of art. Over time, perceptions evolved, and photography gained acceptance as a legitimate artistic medium.

the same way, AI art challenges our understanding of creativity. I believe it's essential to recognize its value as a new form of artistic expression, even though it might not align with traditional notions of art. Just as photography faced criticism and overcame it, AI art can also become an accepted and valued form of creative output.

i have practiced creation over many years and I wont back away from a powerful tool like this. I use synthography to explore vast realms of creativity, i truly believe it is helping those who have never picked up a pencil to feel inspired to create something...in my opinion, anything that inspires creativity is valuable.

AI art often draws inspiration from existing works of art created by humans. This process involves training algorithms on large datasets of artwork, allowing the AI to learn patterns, styles, and techniques. These algorithms analyze various aspects of the input artworks, such as color palettes, brushstrokes, composition, and more. By understanding these artistic elements, the AI can generate new pieces that are influenced by the styles it has learned.

However, it's important to note that AI doesn't simply replicate or copy existing art. It doesnt have the sinister human goal to "steal all of your work" Instead, it remixes and reinterprets elements from different artworks to create something novel and unique.

This process of inspiration and transformation results in pieces that carry a blend of artistic influences but also exhibit the prompt crafters direction and the AI's own creative input. In this way, with out help, AI art builds upon the legacy of human creativity while adding a fresh perspective and innovative approach.

I’m so down with that. What engine are you using, your stuff here is dope!

Thanks yo! I've played with a few and for now have settled with Midjourney because I am familiar with it and I can achieve consistent results... I have an easier time speaking with it.

However, about to invest in a decent gaming laptop so I'll be able to run stable diffusion and start setting up and training models using my own original art... which is going to be a journey because i have no idea how hahaha

WOAH. Thats some next level shit right there! …I‘be pretty much just been using a phone app called StarryAI…I’m excited to follow your story as you go through this process!

I used to play alot with Google deep dream when that first came out and also spent my early days making fractals...those were the days!

Damn, I’d like to see that! Fractals are wicked cool!
