Bitcoin & Blockchain Information Starter Pack for Beginners (Education Purposes Only)

in #bitcoin2 years ago

Below is a list of resources I sent to my father to get him to adopt Bitcoin after so many years of telling him and him no understanding. I admit I wish I had put this together a long time ago. It covers Bitcoin, Blockchain, Macro economics relative to Bitcoin, and other information relative to Bitcoin. This information targets Bitcoin & blockchain and not altcoins because Bitcoin is the most trusted & secure store of value in the Cryptoverse. After reading and truly understanding the whitepaper, and also understanding traditional markets, you begin to understand its future potential.

Some tips from my own experience:

  • Keep all your wallet keys and information in a notebook off of your devices. This adds an extra layer of security and if you lose your keys on your desktop you have a paper copy to refer to. Lose your keys and you lose access to your funds.
  • Watch out for scams. Anyone offering returns for a payment is a scam. There's no get rich quick schemes. Altcoins are highly speculative for example, new emerging businesses. They have no trust so it's up to you to do due diligence when investing in these companies.
  • Don't do leveraged trading. Avoid it and use Dollar Cost Averaging to get long-term value investments, no matter the market you're buying in. Leveraged trading takes years to develop a profitable strategy, you have to know macro economics to predict the market.

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,
