Problems Associated With Pre-existing Exchanges
While most exchanges seem promising at start, some fail due to some known reasons:
High Fees

Some well-known exchanges only have limited trading base pairs which in most cases, might not be more than five pairs which are not enough compared to what users actually need.

While some exchanges require you to register before transacting, others do not. Moreover, most of those that require registration often need verification. For example,Yobit requires government-issued documents and bank details for verification; this could make the exchange serve as a point of attraction to hackers in getting personal details and even stealing people's funds.
