About dPoll

dPoll is a polling application on top of Steem. It utilizes an account based voting system and stores poll and voting data on the blockchain. You can find it at dPoll.xyz.

dPoll Competition No. 38

Starting this Sunday, every poll created until next Saturday will be eligible to enter the competition.

There are two ways to win:

Price pool for most votes cast:

1st Place wins 3 Steem

2nd and 3rd Place each win 1 Steem

One random voter for the winning dPoll will receive 1 Steem

Entry: you will have to create a poll on dPoll.xyz and try to accumulate as many votes for your question as you can. Deadline is Saturday the 10th of August 2019 12 PM UTC*.

Team members of dPoll are excluded from participating in the prize pool.

What happened on dPoll last week?

@shaka hosted the 25th collage competition. At time of writing it was a very close race

Many of you are aware of Steem Engine tokens, some buy selectively in order to participate in tribes, others actively trade. @therealwolf wanted to find out:

You may have come across @incubot. A fun little dice game that distributes rewards from upvotes to the winners. Because there are so many new tokens @BraaiBoy wants to know how best to distribute the tokens among the players:

The easiest way to score free tokens

The most popular option was to distribute tokens evenly among winners. Thats an easy approach but it doesn't differentiate by the proportion of upvotes.
