Almost every single day my uncle and I head outside to take care of the plants we have. He has been showing me, teaching me and making me do most of the work (haha). We spend a lot of time together and a good chunk of that time is learning about plants, how they grow, and what certain plants produce. He says to me that learning how plants grow and growing them can help people and the family not spend so much at stores. He is teaching me to become self-sufficient, soon enough, I'll have my own special breed of my favorite crops. Everyday is an opportunity to learn, so I'm glad my uncle is my teacher!
