Some of you may know but at home I have two cars, both Chery, an A2 or Arauca as it is known in Venezuela and an X1. A few days ago I shared with you how I could finally replace the battery of the X1, I was using the one of the A2 which did not fit well for being thicker and with hidden terminals, the original one of the car is thin and tall.
The other battery returned to the A2 and so it was working until a few days ago began to appear sulfate on both terminals, which is a clear sign that the battery is already reaching its obsolescence, because if it were only sulfate in the positive it is receiving much load of the alternator, or if they were nothing more in the negative it is little load that receives or it is discharging very fast, but in the case to be both is a clear sign that the battery has reached its end.
Fortunately this model of battery is much more economical than the one I bought previously, it cost 58$ USD from a brand that is imported from Colombia and has a wide national warranty, which can be known wherever you go because your data and those of the vehicle are registered on the manufacturer's website so that you can be attended at home in case of any inconvenience anywhere in the country.
The irony of the case is that the same distributor has the same battery model at a cost of $ 65 USD and in many of its commercial allies is $ 7 cheaper, ensuring the same way the warranty, of course I made sure that the battery did not have long stored as that also guarantees more time of use, which for this model in my case lasted 3 and a half years, which is within the normal range of use in favorable conditions.

El sulfato reaparece obligandome a comprar una nueva batería
Alguno quizás sepan pero en casa tengo dos carritos, ambos de la marca Chery, un A2 o Arauca como se le conoce en Venezuela y un X1. Hace dias comparti con ustedes como finalmente pude reemplazar la bateria del X1, estuve utilizando la del A2 la cual no encajaba bien por ser mas gruesa y de bornes escondidos, la original del carro es delgada y alta.
La otra batería volvió al A2 y así estuvo trabajando hasta que hace pocos dias comenzo aparecer sulfato en ambos bornes, lo que es una clara señal de que la bateria ya esta llegando a su obsolescencia, porque si fuera solo sulfato en el positivo se que está recibiendo mucha carga del alternador, o si fueran nada mas en el negativo es poca carga la que recibe o se esta descargando muy rápido, pero en el caso al ser los dos es clara señal que la batería a llegado a su fin.
Por fortuna este modelo de batería es mucho mas económico que la que compre anteriormente, está costó 58$ USD de una marca que se importa desde Colombia y que cuenta con amplia garantía a nivel nacional, que puede ser conocida a donde vayas ya que tus datos y los del vehículo son registrados en el sitio web del fabricante a fin de que puedas ser atendido en casa de algún inconveniente en cualquier lugar del pais.
Lo irónico del caso es que el mismo distribuidor el mismo modelo de batería lo tiene en un costo de 65$ USD y en muchos de sus aliados comerciales esta 7$ mas económica, asegurando de igual forma la garantía, claro que me asegure que la batería no tuviera mucho tiempo almacenada ya que eso también garantiza mas tiempo de uso, que para este modelo en mi caso duró 3 años y medio, lo que está dentro del rango normal de uso en condiciones favorables.

Chamo fue duro porque me tocaron las dos con poca diferencia, gracias a Dios pude vender unas cosas y le invertí al carro porque sino parado por quien sabe que tiempo

Una batería nueva compre la misma en 65 dólares lo bueno son 15 meses de garantía te llega un msj de texto como un registro nacional de la empresa en mi caso fue así.
