Human was created for happiness - have you heard this? No, no one minds being happy. But eternal happiness is impossible if we have at least minimal empathy, because one way or another we face a lot of problems and stressful situations.

Pain is one of humanity's most notable emotions. Every human experiences pain in some form, whether it's physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual in nature. Suffering is an essential part of life; it helps us learn and grow. However, some forms of suffering are more dangerous than others. The absence of love and faith is dangerous in its own right. Conversely, the presence of love and faith can be just as dangerous when it causes people to ignore or deny reality.

Understanding and coping with pain are essential to human life. Many people have a difficult time accepting that something can be painful and pleasurable at the same time. They believe that anything that feels good must also be good for them. Others have a difficult time letting go of past pleasures and suffering as adults. Denial is a normal response to pain- whether it's physical, mental or emotional in nature. People in these states will often cling to their painful memories despite evidence to the contrary. Pain is also a great motivator; it can prod someone toward greater efforts toward success or happiness.

Love is a painful emotion that every lover experiences. Painful love is a form of unfulfilled desire- the desire to be loved without any return. It's the desire to be cared for without any compensation. Usually, people who are deeply in love are blind to their partner's flaws. This can cause ongoing stress as the lover seeks to please and be cared for despite his own flaws. A common expression about this state is 'the masochist becomes the receiver.' While this may sound unpleasant, being loved without any return is usually very satisfying.

Physical pain can sometimes lead to spiritual growth through religious faith. Many people experience painful situations as part of their religious education process. Growing through those experiences results in greater spiritual peace and fulfillment for those willing to endure them. However, pains can also result in denial; people who experience religious faith as pain can still have problems with it if their experience was negative enough. For example, seeing people suffer from sin often leads believers to seek absolution from those sins through prayer or other methods. The pain experienced through religious faith can also cause positive emotions such as compassion or hope for others.

Suffering can come from many sources- love, pain and faith are just a few of them. Humans have great potential for suffering- or finding great pleasure in what most consider negative emotions like pain and love simultaneously. The key is to acknowledge your experiences so you can let go of old pains and embrace new ones responsibly.

There is no need to go to the other extreme. Suffering perfects the soul, say some religious leaders. Oh really? Eternal suffering is nothing more than a sign to seek help from a psychotherapist. And it is even better to hand over analyzes on hormones at first.

In general, I would say that even in the most difficult situations, one must act productively. It is normal to suffer from pain (mental or physical). But it should not become your lifestyle. Denial is also a bad way. Live your pain, cry, pity yourself, but then move on. If you cannot do it yourself, seek professional help.
