Such a sad state when someone thinks it's cool to set a fire, the heads have been there for hundreds of years and it just takes one idiot to ruin it for everyone. Love your pics though, Easter Island was on my list of places I want to visit, but makes me wonder if it is still worth a visit now the heads are damaged. I shall keep my options open lol.

The island has more to offer than the heads, but yeah, it's also a remote place to reach. It does require lots of thinking and planning before going there.
