Hello friends, I welcome you to the hundred and twelfth week of the hive open mic. I am happy to be a part of the history that this community is making both on hive and in the world generally, all through the medium of music.
This week,we have a very intresting theme of the week which is Power. I must say, that it is a very powerful theme. Co-incidentally the song I will present in response to the theme is about power. The title of the song is LA BARCA Y EL MAESTRO. In english it means, THE BOAT AND THE MASTER.
From the Above title you may already be able to tell that the music is about the passage in the scriptures where Christ walked on water. In other words, where Christ showed a Nature defying power. He walked on water. That is simply defying gravity. Another beautiful thing about this passage of which the song tells the same story is that trusting in our own powers will not really lead us any where, but trusting in the creators power will always lead us to greater to walk in power like him.
For the presentation of the song, I tried to score the Original song the way it was played on the album of the Coro mision Pais and delivered it the exact way. It took me a lot of time to perfect it and i think its worth it. I feel EMPOWERED to have studied and known this song because it gave me new skills.

Para la presentación de la canción, intenté anotar la canción original tal como se tocaba en el álbum del Coro Mision Pais y entregarla exactamente de la misma manera. Me tomó mucho tiempo perfeccionarlo y creo que vale la pena. Me siento POTENCIADO de haber estudiado y conocido esta canción porque me dio nuevas habilidades.
