Life is so unexpected

She is no more with us

Only few days have gone since my father's elder brother passed away, about which I posted here, and yesterday she left this world to join her husband's heavenly soul.

This was she just ten days back, on 13th we were at their house to complete the rituals. And then we spent the day with her and her daughters were along with her.

I was supposed to write a post on this, but then missed writing. Two days back, she complained of weakness and fell in the bathe room and was admitted to the hospital. The sodium level was low and the doctor assured there was nothing to worry. She was recovering well, unfortunately the sad news came in the morning - she had a cardiac arrest.

Before being admitted, she was speaking to my mother on a daily basis and as per my Mom, she was feeling lonely but was doing fine otherwise. She had asked my mother to come and stay with her for few days. As I came from my native recently, my mother called me and asked me to bring her and leave at her house to which I said, I will come in the next week end and we will complete her remaining tests and then I will drop her to stay for few days. Never did we imagine to hear this shocking news.

My mother is shocked and I am continuously talking to her and will go again in the week end to make her feel better. Also plan to complete her remaining health check up. But this makes me realize how uncertain life is. This leaves my parents as the only people living from their generation - out of four brothers, remaining three and their wives have departed. We are privileged to have our parents with us this far.

Life is indeed unexpected. We never know when that moment will come and it's also true that we all will pass through that last event of our life. That's what life is, if birth is true, then death is inevitable.

Please accept my deepest condolences and may God give you and your family the courage to bear this loss.

if birth is true, then death is inevitable

We all know the ultimate truth, but it's hard to feel the pinch, when it comes to you.

Sometimes it is difficult to accept even if a conceivable truth. The point is our emotional and deep attachment to our nearest and dearest ones. We can not simply accept their departure. I can feel your emotion at the moment.

Only few days have gone since my father's elder brother passed away, about which I posted here, and yesterday she left this world to join her husband's heavenly soul.

Rest in peace. Sorry for your loss.

But this makes me realize how uncertain life is. This leaves my parents as the only people living from their generation - out of four brothers, remaining three and their wives have departed. We are privileged to have our parents with us this far.

Life is indeed unexpected, but unfortunately I cannot say the same as above. My mother passed away on 2017.12.17. Only one week before Christmas. She was 64 years old. She did everything for us (for my brother and for me). She loved us more than anything. She fought brain tumor (cancer) for a few months. She have not had any problems in the summer. This started somewhere in the autumn/fall. So this was very quick.

Spend as much time as you can with your parents. I wish that we could spend more time with our mother.

Spend as much time as you can with your parents.

64 was definitely not big, having parents with us gives a different level of confidence. Thank you for kind words.

I will tell my grandparent's story here, I think it is quite similar and I would like to share it with you.

Sometimes people can't endure the ordeal of the death of a partner, most of them are demolished or totally ravaged by them and is so hard to see when is someone you know, my grandmother survived my grandparent, when he died she had a hearth attack just a few weeks later, it killed off 72% of her hearth in one single strike, she survived because she had a sick son, and wanted to still be there to take care of my uncle (Who lived a long and happy life, thanks to the creator) but remained the rest of her life, all 16 years of it, remembering my grandparent and missing him, it hit her daily and more than once after my uncle became a grown man, she prayed for God to let her leave and join her husband. Eventually she passed away and joined him, and it hit hard to know she was gone, yet she finally was with her Husband.

I think your Aunt not only joined with her husband (Your uncle) in Heaven, but will now enjoy the heavenly life together as a couple, eternally in love.

True, they were fighting day in day out, but seems their love was really eternal.Staying for more than half a century together and dying to join proves that.

More than half a century? My god, what an example of a Love, and one thinks 5-10 years is a lot, yet 50+ years is something to admire and look up to, big hug and the support of my family and our prayers.

56 years to be exact.

My condolences my friend. Whenever a loved one passes it is very difficult, but as time goes by the sadness that fills our hearts is replaced with fond memories. Being married for 50 years is a testament to their love for each other. When two people are together for so many years it's tough for the surviving partner to continue.

God bless and my prayers are with you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad and unexpected news @sanjeevm.
When the older generation become whittled down, we begin to realize that we will soon be playing their roles and the younger generation will be looking at us for guidance.
That is how the circle of life goes round and round, not so!
Take comfort knowing she did not have a long suffering 💔

Well said, those who do not suffer are really good souls and depart without giving any pain to others.

I'm sorry for your news, sometimes we are little aware of the fortune of being so close to ours. this is a reminder to hug my mother

Oh man this is so sad... Two deaths in your family in such a short time :( My deepest condolences. May the departed rest in peace.

This is a shocking incidence, just a day before we were planning to go to her house in the week end.

May there Souls Continue to Rest in Peace in Jesus Mighty Name Amen 🙏
May God 🙏 Comfort your Family Members 🙏

My sorrys man i hope god vives strenght to you all , she will be at peace now.

I'm so sorry for your loss, my condolences. I can't find anything more to say...

certainly life is uncertain and unexpected so we must enjoy each moment to the fullest since we do not know when it could be the last

Cardiac arrest and stroke are silent killers, an aged person might be recovering well from it and suddenly they're dead. Accept my condolences, losing two dear people in such a short interval can be devastating.

The house is deserted and its hard to face it.

what bad news for your family friend, loneliness is something that sticks and much and more for people who have been together for many years

Omg!! This is pathetic
My condolences
Stay strong sir

Cardiac arrest cases are rising in India, especially during Covid-19. But here, in this case, she was aged, the reason may be different. My condolence for the departed soul. May you have the strength to bear this pain.

Actually, as your title says, life is like a chapter full of unexpected events. A birth adds happiness to us, but a separation is too sad for the heart to bear. So we have to live with great patience throughout this lifetime.
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your closest family member. May she rest in peace.

Quite unexpected situation.

Things really happened unexpectedly I must confess. May her soul rest in peace

A very unfortunate incident has happened. May God rest his soul in peace. My friend, I am very sad to hear that these two incidents happened in your house one after the other. But don't think yourself alone my friend. I am with you in your sorrow. Take care of yourself and your family.

Sad but also happy that she can now be together with her man. :) yes, we are very lucky to still have the company of our parents. I am in a similar situation as u in that my parents are quite old now, but I still enjoy seeing them often.

Stay strong,

Thank you, having them gives a different level of confidence.

Condolences for the loss. I was also shocked and saddened on this news. It's just recently when I heard about your uncle's demise.
