Some pictures of the Red Kite from this weekend

This weekend in Lower Austria I was able to take some more pictures of birds and the landscape up there. All in all it was a nice holiday with a lot of impressions from bird photography. One bird that came extremely close was this red kite that was flying just above Stefan and me and that's why I could take some really nice pictures of it. It took several rounds above our heads before it moved on to a different location, but this was enough for me to take some really nice pictures of this beautiful bird.

In my opinion the red kite is one of the most beautiful birds and since it is very inquisitive it is easier to take some great pictures of this bird than from other birds of prey. I will show you the results of this weekends trips in some future articles here on Hive.

Majestic!

Thanks, indeed.

This friend is close to the black kite, but looks very different. This white head stands out, like an eagle.

Yes, both are majestic birds and I enjoyed IT when they fly over me for some Inspektion. I am happy I am Not a Mouse though.
