Cold was here too, today and yesterday is like spring and we expect another cold front in the weekend. So, I guess I will have some puffed birds too.
I had never heard of it ("mildly drunk") till I looked it up in relation to some other birds β Cedar Waxwings β here that behave in a similar way. You wouldn't think berries with maybe 1-2% natural fermentation alcohol would do much, but birds are tiny, and they eat a LOT of berries.
