"Never forget how to have fun together." - Unknown

Whenever I see a pair of birds sitting together, I can not help noticing how content they seem and how much fun they seem to have...

While I love the aspect of seeing a pair of birds and thinking about the mushy feelings of love, respect and companionship, there are also other things to note. I am going to show, through pictures and titles, the varied aspects of togetherness that I see in birds...

The comedians - Acting out the 'Bird proctologist'!

How about these 4 Spice finches gossiping together The one in center definitely seems to be narrating a very juicy piece of gossip and other listening intently with expressions of 😳
Ha ha.

The magnificent Seven....

No description necessary for this click!. Guess which one is Yul Brynner (if you are familiar with the Epic western Magnificent Seven)

The Acrobats ...

These two seem to be having fun feeding together - acrobat style with upside down poses !

Having fun -just being with you ❀️❀️❀️

While I see and enjoy so many ways in which birds seem to be having fun together, the best, for me is this image of a couple, sitting quietly together and enjoying each other's company without speaking ....

wow this is so beautiful, great captures.

Thank you so much for your kind words

Brilliant sub-titles, superb photography on all the gatherings in your region. Magnificent Seven was a good movie to refer back to.

@tipu curate

@joanstewart Thank you so much. Magnificent Seven was a classic. I guess only our generation is more of a fan and the millennials probably do not care so much about old classics. πŸ˜€ Which one of the birds do you think is Yul Brynner?

singature small avatar.png

The one right at the end on right when young with slicked back hair for sure....

Also learned a little more!

Yuliy Borisovich Briner, known professionally as Yul Brynner

I knew he was Russian by birth, did not know his original name, only screen name Yul Brynner so a little confused with the spelling first time round πŸ™ƒ, I knew who you referred to by the movie!

@joanstewart Yes. I remembered the spelling wrong too.
About the bird on the right - yes - I thought he was the one too. Aloof and keeping a watch. πŸ˜€

Brilliant actor, along with others one has fond memories of. Great to select the same bird for similar reason.

I love the pictures of the gossips more
It looks exactly like that
How did you know that they were gossiping? Lol

@rafzat I know - I like that pic very much too but the one I chose is also a nicer visual so I went with that.
I just happened to be around clicking when I heard those 4 chattering away and took that chat. I guess I got lucky...πŸ˜€

I am always impressed by your photos. πŸ™‚ You know how to show the best of the birds.
The Magnificent Seven, ah, such a classic movie. However, I remember only the bald Yul Brynner, but cannot say which bird reminds me of him. πŸ˜€

@nelinoeva Thank you. Wildlife photography is my passion so put some efforts into getting good closeups of subjects on nice bokeh backgrounds. Thanks for noticing and appreciating.
If we remember Magnificent seven then we are no longer spring chickens by the way. So, be careful when admitting you remember that movie. LOL πŸ˜‚

singature small avatar.png

Oh, well, I am not afraid to admit I'm no spring chicken anymore and I remember old movies. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

Wonderful pics ! my fav is "the Gossips"

@barbara-orenya Thank you. Yes - i love the gossips too πŸ˜€

singature small avatar.png

Do you also believe in this ideology that love is actually blind

@biyimi Hmmm- I think todays youngsters are a bit more cautious and their love is not blind probably. πŸ˜€

singature small avatar.png

All photos are very nice and beautiful. It is tough to choose which one is the best But still, finches are lovely. greetings :)

@hindavi Thanks. Yes - I too like the finches generally but this time I chose the Blue tailed bee-eaters as my entry because I think that picture has more visual appeal.
