Hola amigos de Hive, creo que no me habia dado cuenta de lo especial que es este juego, hasta que lo estaba editando para compartirlo, y es que se trata de Combat Flight Simulator, probablemente el primer juego que jugué en mi propia PC, por allá por el año 2000, cuando tener una PC era algo que muy pocos tenían el privilegio.
Hi Hive friends, I don't think I realized how special this game is, until I was editing it to share it, because it is Combat Flight Simulator, probably the first game I played on my own PC, back in the year 2000, when having a PC was something that very few had the privilege.
Sin embargo, en mi casa recibimos una PC, que era de un primo y la instalamos y bueno tenia un procesador Pentium II Celeron de 233 mhz y 8 mb de video dedicado, y no recuerdo cuanto de Ram tal vez 64 mb, y como todo niño , me entusiasmaba podre jugar algun juego, de manera que una vez nos enviaron una hoja de Excel, con cientos de juegos a elegir, y yo elegi Indiana Jones and the infernal Machine y Combat Flight Simulator, ah y Commandos,

De modo que llegó el Flight Simulator, los instalamos y funcionó a la perfección no pasó mucho tiempo para que mi papá decidiera comprar un joystick, el cual tenia un puerto bastante extraño, era serial, bastante amplio, y pues la PC tenia un entrada para ese puerto milagrosamente. De modo que ahí nació cierta adicción a este videojuego de simulación de combate.
So Flight Simulator arrived, we installed it and it worked perfectly, it was not long before my dad decided to buy a joystick, which had a rather strange port, it was serial, quite wide, and the PC miraculously had an input for that port. So there was born a certain addiction to this combat simulation video game.
Y bueno ese fue el preámbulo a lo que es este gameplay, aquí decidí comaprtir rápidamente, una Single Mission, elegí una DogFight es decir combate aire –aire por que es lo que más me gusta, casi no me gusta tener que destruir enemigos terrestres, aunque es verdad que hace que los juegos sean aun más dinámicos e interesantes, pero yo disfruto sobre todo derribar otros aviones.
And well that was the preamble to what is this gameplay, here I decided to comaprtir quickly, a Single Mission, I chose a DogFight ie air-air combat because it is what I like most, I almost do not like having to destroy ground enemies, although it is true that makes the games even more dynamic and interesting, but I enjoy above all shoot down other planes.
Me gusta mucho por supuesto como en todos los simuladores tener una vista lo más realista posible, por lo que la vista desde la cabina es mi favorita, este juego tiene 2 vistas desde la cabina, aunque olvidé mostrarles la segunda. Dentro de la cabina podemos manipular distintos instrumentos, como los Flaps utilizados para reducir la velocidad haciendo resistencia con el viento, todos los instrumentos indicadores funcionan, aunque hay que tomar un par de tutoriales para entenderlos.
I like very much of course as in all simulators to have a view as realistic as possible, so the view from the cockpit is my favorite, this game has 2 views from the cockpit, although I forgot to show you the second one. Inside the cockpit we can manipulate different instruments, like the Flaps used to reduce the speed making drag with the wind, all the indicator instruments work, although you have to take a couple of tutorials to understand them.
En esta misión al objetivo era derribar cierta cantidad de aviones enemigos y al parecer volver a la base, pero algo pasó que no cumplí la misión aun cuando hice eso, y tal vez debi haber leído los objetivos de la misión, pero yo entendí que esa era la misión.
In this mission the objective was to shoot down a certain number of enemy planes and apparently return to base, but something happened that I didn't accomplish the mission even when I did that, and maybe I should have read the mission objectives, but I understood that that was the mission.
Algo que me gusta mucho de este juego es la cantidad de aviones disponibles, son muchos, todos de la segunda guerra mundial, las cabinas son distintas e incluso el manejo tiene notables diferencias,, de igual forma la cantidad de misiónes individuales o dentro de campaña son abundantes por lo que tendremos horas de entretenimiento.
Something I really like about this game is the amount of planes available, there are many, all from the second world war, the cockpits are different and even the handling has notable differences, likewise the amount of individual missions or within the campaign are abundant so we will have hours of entertainment.
Los graficos estaban bastante bien para la época, tal vez los entornos no tienen tanto detalle, pero sin duda me gusta el modelado de los aviones. Creo que Flight Simulator tiene muchas cosas que valorar, y hoy me sigue pareciendo tan interesante como antes, aunque al no tener tantas opciones en el pasado hicieron que jugara muchas horas este juego, algo que actualmente no se puede comprar, pues unos 15 minutos de misión son suficientes para mi.
The graphics were pretty good for the time, maybe the environments do not have so much detail, but I certainly like the modeling of aircraft. I think Flight Simulator has many things to appreciate, and today I still find it as interesting as before, although not having so many options in the past made me play many hours this game, something that currently can not be bought, because about 15 minutes of mission are enough for me.

Buenas amigo, hace mucho no me pasaba por aquí pero te veo que sigues subiendo un contenido hermoso. Este tipo de juegos siempre me gustaron pero me ponía muy ansioso cuando veía a los enemigos. Gracias por traerme tan gratos recuerdos de mí infancia.
