¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Lo se, lo se, he estado perdida pero le echo la culpa a mi trabajo. Últimamente hemos tenido tantas actividades que trabajo para vivir y vivo para trabajar pero no quería dejar de contarles como pasamos el Día de las Madres y es que la celebración comenzó un día antes ya que a mi mamá junto a un grupo de jubilados de su antiguo trabajo se propusieron a realizar una fiesta para homenajear a las mamás.
Hello my dear Hive friends! I know, I know, I've been lost but I blame it on my work. Lately we have had so many activities that I work to live and live to work but I didn't want to stop telling you how we spent Mother's Day and the celebration started a day before because my mom and a group of retirees from her old job decided to throw a party to honor moms.
Aunque les diré que por un momento pensábamos que no se podría llevar a cabo la actividad puesto que había un clima nada favorecedor. El cielo estaba completamente gris. Mi mamá me había dicho que la acompañara para tomar fotos y vídeos de la fiesta. La hora en la que quedamos de acuerdo para que estuviera en su casa era a partir de siete de la mañana ya que ella debía llegar temprano para organizar todo pero no contábamos que comenzaría a lloviznar. Yo me arreglé de igual manera porque la lluvia podría dejar de caer en cualquier momento; y efectivamente, cuando terminé de prepararme ya no caía ninguna gota del cielo, eso si, el calor que había era abrumador.
Cuando llego a la casa de mi mamá a las siete y diez minutos, que he de decirles que eso es un logro para mi porque yo para levantarme temprano lucho mucho pero muchísimo. Pero apresuré mucho para nada, cuando entro al cuarto de mi madre, resulta que ella ni siquiera se había bañado aún, precisamente por la cuestión de la lluvia. En fin, la esperé y salimos a tomar el trasporte aún a buena hora para llegar.
Although I will tell you that for a moment we thought that the activity could not be carried out since the weather was not at all favorable. The sky was completely gray. My mom had told me to go with her to take pictures and videos of the party. The time we agreed on for me to be at her house was from seven in the morning since she had to arrive early to organize everything, but we didn't count on the fact that it would start to drizzle. I got ready in the same way because the rain could stop falling at any moment; and indeed, when I finished getting ready, not a single drop was falling from the sky, but the heat was overwhelming.
When I arrived at my mom's house at ten minutes past seven, which I must tell you is an achievement for me because I struggle a lot to get up early. But I rushed too much for nothing, when I went into my mother's room, it turned out that she had not even taken a bath yet, precisely because of the rain. Anyway, I waited for her and we went out to take the transportation even at a good hour to get there.
Llegamos a tiempo y mi mamá junto a sus compañeros ambientaron el lugar. Todo quedó super lindo y se pasó un rato muy ameno. Jugamos bingo (no me lleve nada, pero eso es normal, soy malísima en esos juegos jaja), hubo rifas, música bailable. De verdad que todo salió espectacular y las mamás quedaron muy felices.
We arrived on time and my mom and her colleagues decorated the place. Everything was super nice and we had a great time. We played bingo (I didn't take anything, but that's normal, I'm terrible at those games haha), there were raffles, dance music. Everything was really spectacular and the moms were very happy.
Todos quedaron satisfechos con la fiesta previa al día de las mamás y debido al trabajo que se realizó mi mamá quería que hiciéramos algo más sencillo para pasar un tiempo en familia por lo que organizamos solo un almuerzo donde cocinamos una rica pasta y pasamos un momento madre e hija viendo peliculas.
Everyone was satisfied with the pre-mom's day party and because of the work that was done my mom wanted us to do something simpler to spend some family time so we organized just a lunch where we cooked a nice pasta and spent some mother and daughter time watching movies.
Luego de comer mi mamá y yo le dimos la sorpresa a mi abuela regalandole algunas cosas que le hacían falta. Amo la cara de felicidad que puso cuando abrió sus obsequios.
After lunch my mom and I surprised my grandmother by giving her some things she was missing. I love the look of happiness on her face when she opened her gifts.
Después tocó darle el regalo a mi mamá. Aquí fuimos a mi casa ya que la sorpresa la tenia bien guardada y escondida porque ella siempre me descubre las cosas jajaja y fui muy feliz cuando abrió su regalo y se emocionó como una niña pequeña. Ella tenía mucho rato pidiéndome un perfume y a ella siempre le ha gustado la fragancia de coco de Victoria´s Secret por lo que decidí ahorrar y comprarle el splash original y le encantó. De verdad que no hay nada como observar esa cantidad de emociones que pasan por el rostro de una persona cuando te esfuerzas en darle un lindo regalo y que a ellos les guste.
Feliz Día de las Madres a todas esas madresitas que me leen, se que ya pasó el día pero nunca es tarde para felicitar❤️
Then it was time to give the gift to my mom. Here we went to my house since I had the surprise well kept and hidden because she always discovers things to me hahaha and I was very happy when she opened her gift and was excited like a little girl. She had been asking me for a perfume for a long time and she has always liked the Victoria's Secret coconut fragrance so I decided to save up and buy her the original splash and she loved it. There really is nothing like watching the amount of emotions that go through a person's face when you make an effort to give them a nice gift and they like it.
