¡Hola hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Feliz año nuevooo ¿aún se puede decir eso? jaja ya que estamos en la segunda semana de enero, yo siento que si jajaja y es que no quiero dejar pasar el lindo cierre de año que tuvimos en familia. Por segundo año seguido mi abuelito vino a pasar las fiestas con nosotros y el estar casi toda la familia reunida me hace muy feliz ya que por cuestiones de transporte y la distancia en la que vivimos se nos complica pasar estas fechas especiales juntos pero este año nuevamente se pudo y eso me hace muy feliz.
Hello hello my dear friends of Hive! Happy new year, can you still say that? haha since we are in the second week of January, I feel that yes hahaha and I do not want to miss the nice end of the year we had as a family. For the second year in a row my grandfather came to spend the holidays with us and being almost all the family together makes me very happy because due to transportation issues and the distance we live it is difficult for us to spend these special dates together but this year we were able to do it again and that makes me very happy.
Nuestro ultimo día del año estuvo algo más acontecido que el día de navidad puesto que me propuse a crear por segunda vez el tradicional pasticho que nunca puede faltar en la mesa de un venezolano. Esta vez yo estaba súper decidida en que debía mejorar la receta ya que la última vez que la hice me había quedado un poco reseco pero en esta ocasión me esforcé mucho más en la preparación, luego tuve que ir a la casa de mi mamá a utilizar su horno porque el mio no funciona que ese fue otro detalle que me sucedió el año anterior de que no gradué bien la temperatura pero ahora si tuve todo más controlado jajaja.
Our last day of the year was a little more eventful than Christmas day since I set out to create for the second time the traditional pasticho that can never be missing on a Venezuelan's table. This time I was super determined that I had to improve the recipe since the last time I made it I had left it a little dry but this time I tried much harder in the preparation, then I had to go to my mom's house to use her oven because mine doesn't work, that was another detail that happened to me last year that I didn't set the temperature right but now I had everything more under control hahaha.
Luego de que ya todo lo referente de la comida estuvo listo, era momento de prepararse para la celebración. A veces, los pequeños detalles nos hacen más felices que cualquier otra cosa, mi amor y yo decidimos estar combinados en esta ocasión y eso es un logro jajaja porque él al no ser tan amante de estas fechas no le presta mucha atención a los outfits, él con cualquier franela y un jean se siente bien pero esta vez fue diferente y eso me hizo muy feliz.
After all the food was ready, it was time to get ready for the celebration. Sometimes, the little details make us happier than anything else, my love and I decided to be combined on this occasion and that is an achievement hahaha because he is not so fond of these dates he does not pay much attention to the outfits, he with any flannel and a jean feels good but this time it was different and that made me very happy.
Después llegó el momento de tomarnos las fotografías y me encantó que sin planificarlo mi abuelo estuvo combinados con nosotros, pasó lo mismo que el día de navidad jajaja. Disfruté tanto de estos momentos que se que estos serán unos recuerdos que siempre estarán en mi memoria.
Then it was time to take pictures and I loved that without planning it my grandfather was combined with us, it was the same thing that happened on Christmas day hahaha. I enjoyed these moments so much that I know that these will be memories that will always be in my memory.
Ya luego tocó el momento de la verdad, el probar la comida, había llegado el momento de la cena de año nuevo. Se que muchas familias comen luego de que el reloj haya dado las doce pero realmente nosotros no hacemos eso, siempre comemos antes, sobre todo porque mi abuelo y mi mamá son de comer temprano jaja por lo que comimos y disfrutamos de la cena. Afortunadamente el pasticho fue aprobado por los comensales jajaja, sin embargo, aún tengo que mejorar ciertas cosas en el área del gratinado pero ya eso quedará para las próximas fiestas.
Then it was time for the moment of truth, to taste the food, it was time for New Year's dinner. I know that many families eat after the clock has struck twelve but we don't really do that, we always eat before, especially because my grandfather and my mom are early eaters haha so we ate and enjoyed the dinner. Fortunately the pasticho was approved by the diners hahaha, however, I still have to improve certain things in the gratin area but that will be for the next parties.
¿No les ha pasado que colocan la radio para escuchar el conteo para el feliz año y resulta que hay otros vecinos que también lo tienen y se confunden? Eso nos pasó a nosotros cuando estuvimos celebrando finalmente la llegada del año nuevo no habíamos terminado bien el conteo cuando ya sonaban los fuegos artificiales por todos lados o los vecinos ya estaban gritando jajaja.
En esta ocasión se me pasaron todos los rituales que comúnmente hacemos en año nuevo yo por ejemplo siempre hacía el de correr con la maleta para atraer los viajes pero por el apuro no estuve preparada jaja pero hicimos el más importante que fue recibir el año en familia y con un fuerte abrazo.
Espero que este año todos logremos cumplir nuestras metas y sea un año de mucho crecimiento, abundancias y éxitos ¡Feliz año nuevo!❤️
Hasn't it happened to you that you put the radio on to listen to the countdown for the happy new year and it turns out that there are other neighbors who also have it and they get confused? That happened to us when we were finally celebrating the arrival of the new year, we had not finished the countdown when the fireworks were already going off all over the place or the neighbors were already shouting hahaha.
This time I missed all the rituals that we commonly do on New Year's Eve, for example I always did the one of running with the suitcase to attract travel but because of the rush I was not prepared haha but we did the most important one which was to receive the year with family and with a big hug.
I hope this year we all achieve our goals and it will be a year of much growth, abundance and success. Happy New Year! ❤️
