Are you ready for the summer season? Since summer is already fast approaching, it's time for everyone to plan a vacation. This is the season when many of us desire a vacation simply to unwind and relax.
I would like you to join me as I recount my experiences at Camp Paradisio.
My family came together for the Holy Week. My siblings, who work in the city, went home for an extended holiday. My sisters and I made plans to visit a beach where we could enjoy and bond, as we usually only have the opportunity to do so during holidays or special occasions. It is a rare moment for us to all be together since they work far from home.
That's when I proposed the idea of visiting Camp Paradisio in Tabogon. I stumbled upon their page on Facebook and was immediately captivated by the stunning views of the resorts. We aim to have an affordable getaway, so after reviewing their page, we settled on going there.
It took us nearly an hour to get there. We simply hopped on a motorcycle and relied on Waze to help us find and reach the destination.
Upon arrival, I anticipated that they would already have other guests, considering it was Holy Week. We didn't make a reservation in advance because we preferred to just walk in.
For guests who walk in, the entrance fee for adults on weekends or holidays is only 150 pesos, but on weekdays, there is a discounted rate of 100 pesos. Children who are four feet below are charged 50 pesos for the entrance fee.
Given that we won't be staying overnight, I inquired with the staff about forgoing the rental of a table or cottage. Luckily, they suggested a bench by the pool area where we could keep our belongings while enjoying a swim.
Before heading straight to their pool area, we took a leisurely stroll around the premises to admire the view. The scenery is absolutely stunning, ideal for watching the sunset. The area is quite spacious, allowing for a truly relaxing and laid-back atmosphere.
They have a variety of accommodations available. Whether you prefer an overnight stay or a longer visit, you can select the options that suit your preferences. They offer cottages available for daily rentals. Additionally, they provide Cabanas for varying group sizes. For those interested in overnight stays, there are rental tents available for camping enthusiasts. Couples can opt for cozy Pyramid and Teepee rooms. Families and larger groups can enjoy the spacious Kamalig, Chalet, and Tribe rooms, which are ideal for accommodating everyone.
The pool area offers a picture-perfect view of the ocean, allowing you to relish your swim while taking in the ocean's beauty. From this vantage point, you can also gaze upon the island of Capitancillo. And they also have a pool that is perfect for children.
If you haven't brought a portion of food with you, you can simply order from their delicious menu from their resto corner. In our situation, we simply brought along some food that we purchased on the way there. This way, we can manage our budget while still enjoying ourselves. The friendly and approachable staff at the resort are a definite plus, contributing to the positive feedback the resort receives.
In addition to their pool area, they have a large chess board where you can enjoy playing with your family and friends. This feature is surely the highlight of the place. Each spot within the place offers a unique vibe that will leave you amazed and make your stay more enjoyable.
Even if you are a beach enthusiast, you can still have a great time here as they have a fabricated metal stairs leading directly to the beach. This is the time when I truly relish and value the place, being a beach lover who deeply admires the ocean. So, this is the spot where we spend most of our time.
From the beach, you can catch a glimpse of the Salag Bridge of Tabogon. Additionally, there are pump boats available for rent if you wish to visit Capitancillo Island. However, the downside is that they don't have a designated area for you to place your belongings and sit while swimming in the beach.
We departed from there at 6 p.m, we made a stop at Paseo Tabogon for dinner. Opting for barbeque, we decided to grab a meal before heading home.
We've truly enjoyed our brief stay at the resort so far. We love the place and the stunning views it offers. I can highly recommend this place for your upcoming family and friends getaway. I am sure that you can also enjoy there! 😍
