Hello friends! As the community is about family and friends, I would like to share my concept of friendship and also a little sharing I had recently with some friends.
I think that friendship is like the family that destiny has in store for you in case your blood family fails you or if you have it far away. It hasn't happened to you that sometimes you have a better time with a group of friends than with your family together? and it's not that I don't have a wonderful time with my family when we get together because I really have fun and I miss them, but in many occasions it feels different to share with friends.
I believe that friends should be like a spark that lights up our faces when we are depressed, bored or when we are worried, but also those who know when to bring us down from the clouds when arrogance goes to our heads.
One of the things that depressed me the most when I arrived in Spain was the loneliness and even though I was with my husband in many occasions I felt very lonely and I think he felt the same but unlike me, my husband did find many friends from Venezuela here in Spain, I had to make new friends.
Luckily with time life smiled on me because I have been able to meet truly wonderful people with great sensitivity towards foreigners, these friendships have allowed me to feel at home.
But especially with the friendship of some incredible ladies who have filled my life with laughter, adventures and unforgettable moments, and it is with them that I shared a very enriching afternoon.

Hola amigos! Como la comunidad es sobre familia y amigos, yo en este caso quisiera compartir mi concepto de la amistad y también un pequeño compartir que tuve recientemente con unas amigas.
Pienso que la amistad es como la familia que te tiene reservada el destino por si te falla la familia de sangre o por si la tienes lejos. No les ha pasado que a veces la pasan mejor con un grupo de amigos que con la familia reunida? y no es que yo no la pase de maravillas con mi familia cuando nos reunimos porque realmente me divierto y lo extraño, pero en muchas ocasiones se siente diferente compartir con amigos.
Creo que los amigos deben ser como una chispa que nos ilumina el rostro cuando estamos deprimidos, aburridos o cuando estamos preocupados, pero también los que saben cuando bajarnos de las nubes cuando la arrogancia se nos sube a la cabeza.
Una de las cosas que más me deprimían cuando llegue a España fue la soledad y aunque estaba con mi esposo en muchas ocasiones me sentí muy sola y creo que él llego a sentir lo mismo pero al contrario de mí, mi esposo si encontró varias amistades de Venezuela aqui en España, yo tuve que hacer nuevas.
Por suerte con el tiempo la vida me sonrió porque he podido conocer personas verdaderamente maravillosas y con gran sensibilidad hacia los extranjeros, estas amistades me han permitido sentirme como en casa.
Pero especialmente con la amistad de unas increíbles damas que han llenado mi vida de risas, aventuras y momentos inolvidables, y es con ellas que compartí una tarde muy enriquecedora.
I am one of those people who think that a friendship thrives and is maintained over time, when you have the same tastes and interests, maybe we do not agree on everything but in essence we are always in the same tune.
With these ladies although we have big age differences, when we get together we all look the same age, some of us love to take pictures of everything, others just like to tell stories and jokes, but one thing we share is that we love the contact with nature.
Soy de las personas que piensan que una amistad prospera y se mantiene en el tiempo, cuando se tienen los mismos gustos e intereses, quizás no coincidimos en todo pero en esencia siempre estamos en la misma sintonía.
Con estas damas aunque tenemos diferencias de edad grandes, cuando nos reunimos parecemos todas de la misma edad, nos a algunas nos encanta tomar fotos de todo, a otras solo les gusta contar historias y chistes, pero algo que compartimos es que amamos el contacto con la naturaleza.

I am closer to family than to friends, although I have had a few good friends over the years. It must have been very hard when you first arrived in Spain...no friends or family nearby. It's wonderful that you have made friends. Wonderful and a tribute to you, that you are someone who makes a good friend.

Yes, it was really hard not knowing anyone, our first Christmas we spent alone in the room, now we already know more people with whom from time to time we share.
