Psalms 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
The Almighty God is Love and among every attribute, the attitude of love is His topmost priority. We can never have anything to do with God if we don't have love for Him and humanity.
Thus, to provoke deliverance from any affliction or trouble, we must set our love on Christ. Deliverance comes by default when love is found in us.
Divine lifting is also a product of love for God, according to our scripture today. There are herights we can never attain if love for God does not propel us there.
Since love for God is a top priority for special blessings, we must understand how to love Him.
To love God we must abandon ourselves in service to Him. We must see His business as the most important, in fact we must obey Him with our lives.
Just as a young man that is truly in love with a lady does not say no to any request by her, provided he can do it, we should never say no to God when He needs us in any capacity. Our attitude and reasoning should show that we are sold out for Christ alone.
Explore more ways to love God by the leading of the Holy Spirit, for love is the greatest.
