Hoy fue un día de esos que, aunque sencillos, están repletos de momentos que llenan el alma. Comencé con la intención de darlo todo en mi entrenamiento de calistenia, pero al final, opté por una rutina más suave, dedicándome a estiramientos y prácticas que me permitieron moverme más de lo habitual. La tarde transcurrió entre los pasillos de la universidad, donde el tiempo parece volar entre libros y charlas de profesores.
Today was one of those days that, although simple, are full of moments that fill the soul. I started with the intention of giving my all in my calisthenics training, but in the end, I opted for a softer routine, dedicating myself to stretching and practices that allowed me to move more than usual. The afternoon was spent among the halls of the university, where time seems to fly between books and lectures of professors.
Al caer la tarde, el destino me llevó a un centro comercial, donde me esperaba mi novia. Nos encontramos entre risas y pasillos adornados de ofertas tentadoras. Paseamos, compartimos chistes y disfrutamos de la compañía mutua, olvidándonos del mundo exterior por un instante.
El regreso a casa fue tranquilo, y aunque el cansancio se asomaba, aún quedaba una tarea importante, preparar la cena. Con amor y dedicación, cociné para nosotros, cerrando el día con un acto tan cotidiano como especial. Y así, entre bocados y conversaciones, el día llegó a su fin, no sin antes recordarme que la felicidad se encuentra en las pequeñas cosas, en los detalles más simples, en un día sencillo pero lleno de alegría.
As evening fell, fate took me to a shopping mall, where my girlfriend was waiting for me. We met amidst laughter and aisles adorned with tempting offers. We strolled, shared jokes and enjoyed each other's company, forgetting the outside world for a moment.
The return home was quiet, and although tiredness was looming, there was still an important task, preparing dinner. With love and dedication, I cooked for us, closing the day with an act as daily as it was special. And so, between bites and conversations, the day came to an end, but not before reminding me that happiness is found in the little things, in the simplest details, in a day that was simple but full of joy.
