Continuando contando nuestras aventuras en Argentina, el día de hoy en la mañana tuvimos el desayuno de solo chicas del que ya les hablé. Pero también me tocaba una experiencia bien chévere con el querido @fermionico, que me acompañó a dejar la merch en las instalaciones del evento y también a recibir el stand. Lo que nosotros no sabíamos era todo lo que terminaríamos haciendo al recibir el stand y todo lo que alcanzaríamos a ver por esta actividad. También la hicimos algo rápido porque tenía una actividad más tarde junto con @soy-laloreto, que les contaré en la siguiente publicación.

Continuing with our adventures in Argentina, today in the morning we had the girls only breakfast that I already told you about. But I also had a very cool experience with the dear @fermionico, who accompanied me to leave the merch in the event facilities and also to receive the stand. What we didn't know was all that we would end up doing when we received the stand and all that we would get to see for this activity. We also made it a bit quick because I had a later activity together with @soy-laloreto, which I will tell you about in the next post.
De todos los eventos en los que he participado, solo en este y quizá uno más he podido llegar antes de que terminen de montar todo. Incluso, en ocasiones he tenido que ir el mismo día, pero más temprano, para recibir la entrega del stand.
Fue una experiencia bastante rara, ya que me encontraba en el esqueleto de lo que serían dos días de máximo conocimiento y networking. Un espacio que, al día siguiente, se llenaría de personas gracias a este evento. Observamos stands como el nuestro, de tamaño normal, y otros inmensos, como los de Rootstock y Algorand, que eran al menos cuatro veces más grandes que el nuestro. Pero eso no nos detuvo, como verán más adelante.
El complejo Costa Salguero es inmenso. Posee varios edificios como este donde se realizó LABITCONF, además de restaurantes y otras áreas. Cada espacio tiene un "patio", una zona trasera donde el arrendatario puede colocar lo que desee. En el caso del evento, se habilitó una zona de comidas bastante nutrida, que mostraremos en otra publicación.
Fermionico y yo aprovechamos el permiso para echar un vistazo. Saludamos a las personas de producción que conocíamos y exploramos a fondo este gran edificio, imaginando cómo se vería al día siguiente, activo y lleno de gente.

Of all the events I have participated in, only in this one and maybe one other I have been able to arrive before they finish setting up everything. Sometimes I even had to go on the same day, but earlier, to receive the delivery of the stand.
It was a rather strange experience, as I was in the skeleton of what would be two days of maximum knowledge and networking. A space that, the next day, would be filled with people thanks to this event. We saw stands like ours, of normal size, and other huge ones, like those of Rootstock and Algorand, which were at least four times bigger than ours. But that didn't stop us, as you will see below.
The Costa Salguero complex is huge. It has several buildings like this one where LABITCONF took place, as well as restaurants and other areas. Each space has a "patio", a back area where the tenant can place whatever he wants. In the case of the event, there was a large food court, which we will show in another publication.
Fermionico and I took advantage of the permit to have a look around. We greeted the production people we knew and thoroughly explored this large building, imagining how it would look the next day, active and full of people.
No fotografié todo, pero había hasta un stand de Axie Infinity (sí, yo tampoco lo entiendo). Como estábamos algo cansados y no habíamos almorzado, acomodamos todo lo mejor posible (nuestro stand era uno de los pocos que ya estaba casi listo) y buscamos un lugar para comer. Tras una caminata algo larga, encontramos un sitio llamado Trixie cercano a la salida del complejo. La decoración, como pueden ver en la última foto, era de los años 50 (creo) y me encantó. Comí una ensalada; honestamente, no recuerdo qué comió mi compañero, jajaja, pero todo estaba delicioso. Él se fue al apartamento y yo me dirigí a la siguiente actividad, que era cerca de donde estábamos.
Pronto verán mucho más sobre los stands, especialmente el nuestro. ¿Cuál stand les gustó más además del de Hive?

I didn't photograph everything, but there was even an Axie Infinity booth (yeah, I don't get it either). As we were a bit tired and hadn't had lunch, we set everything up as best we could (our booth was one of the few that was almost ready) and looked for a place to eat. After a somewhat long walk, we found a place called Trixie near the exit of the complex. The decor, as you can see in the last photo, was 1950s (I think) and I loved it. I had a salad; honestly, I don't remember what my partner had, haha, but everything was delicious. He went back to the flat and I headed to the next activity, which was close to where we were.
