The Canadian Truckers really only made one mistake. They needed to chant "Black Lives Matter", start some fires, throw some bricks, and maybe loot some stores. They might have wanted to throw in some Communist or Anarcho-Communist/Syndicalist Antifa style flags for good measure.
Apparently at that point it would no longer have been considered "unlawful".
They made the mistake of not yelling the correct things, and not doing the things all the other "mostly peaceful" protests that Trudeau and others not only support vocally but donate to.
You are only allowed to block roads if you are BLM or Antifa.
You are only allowed to take over districts if you are BLM or Antifa.
You are only allowed to vandalize property and start fires if you are BLM or Antifa.
That was the mistake. For the protests to be considered lawful they needed to do these things.
For the protests to be considered "mostly peaceful" and not "terrorism" they needed to burn some things down, and destroy property.
What were they thinking?
One good thing that can come of all of this is the fact that most people with any sense can see the point you are making here and how the two separate protests are being treated very differently. One is basically endorsed by the state even though it had very little merit and the other is vilified and has untrue labels thrown on it by all the MSM even though basically everyone has access to other avenues of streams from people that are actually there.
When Trudeau finally came out of hiding and made his statement about people being harassed with Swastikas and Confederate flags simply for wearing a mask it was so stupid and comical that I can't believe he said it because everyone knows that this situation that he is attempting to describe, never happened and those 2 people that did have these flags were likely government plants and were chased away by the real protestors.
it only they burned down the whole city peacefully like rioters did for years. then they would be ok.
