On a lovely January evening, Me and my family went out to buy clothes for my elder brother's wedding. His big day was scheduled on 23 Jan 2024 and we were all very excited that we headed towards Sector 22 market in the hope of finding the right clothes for the traditional Haldi ceremony with my lovely mother and brother.
The day we went to buy clothes for Haldi, we thought of trying out a sherwani for brother, so we saw this sherwani but we didn't like it.So after a few days we again went to the market and gave order for a new sherwani to get stitched for brother.
We kept strolling around the market where we saw colorful clothes and shiny jewelers took our time enjoying each other's company and imagining how amazing we would look on the special day After some time we decided to take a break and have some ice cream I chose butterscotch while my mother and brother went for chocolate. It was a simple pleasure that made us all smile and feel closer to each other. And we're ready to continue our shopping series one by one As the evening wore on we became more and more excited for the wedding as we headed back home
Along the way we came across a beautiful plaza decorated with lights and decorations which got us curious and we found out that it was a celebration for the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence and we couldn't help but join in the festivities as we admired the decorations and Light lamps as a sign of respect It was a special moment that made us feel connected to our culture and traditions as we finally made our way home We couldn't stop talking to her about the amazing evening we had unexpectedly but it made us even more excited for her brother's wedding
We felt grateful for the time we spent together as a family and the opportunity to celebrate both love and heritage. Reminds that family has a special importance and we always prepare a special day with memories of wedding.
The vibrant colors of the market shops seemed to reflect our enthusiasm as we carefully selected each garments. I envisioned the happy moments of the wedding day that awaited us amid the gossip and laughter. There was a feeling of closeness and anticipation that reflected the bond we shared as a family and the importance of the upcoming Celebration. That reminded me Because Our anticipation for the sweetness fest seemed to be building as we covered our favorite ice creams. That served as a tasteful question to the happiness that awaited us with every step we took amid the decorated plaza. It felt like a journey through history and tradition as we marveled at the beauty of the decorations and our connection with our roots. Felt a deep connection Lighting a lamp in honor of the officer acknowledging the blessings given to us and reaffirming our commitment to our faith and values Felt like a symbolic crisis As we were returning home the memories of the evening filled our minds with a feeling of gratitude for the moments of happiness and connection that we had given her after the memories of that special evening. That were shared as a family to promote our preparation for marriage and strengthen our bond as a family It served as a source of inspiration and enthusiasm We felt grateful for the time we spent together as a family and the opportunity to celebrate both love and heritage. Reminds that family has a special importance and we always prepare a special day with memories of wedding.
When we went to the market a few days before wedding shopping, the festival of Lohri was being celebrated there.This festival is celebrated with great pomp mainly in the areas of Punjab. Although this festival is celebrated all over India, but mainly it is celebrated in a better way in Punjab.Some of the main reasons for celebration of this festival
Lohri is also celebrated to mark both the end of winter and the beginning of the long Day
In this festival, fire is lit. On the festival of Lohri, at sunset, girls are piled up and burnt like a bonfire.
This festival is also seen as a form of unity in which most of the Punjabi community celebrates this festival with their entire family.In the name of celebrating this festival, they spend a lot of time with their loved ones.😊
