Special Pear and Apple Compote, with Love for My Mother. / Compota Especial de Pera y Manzana, con Amor para Mi Madre.

Greetings dear foodie friends! 😊

A few days ago I mentioned that my mother's health has been very delicate, all her children are making a great effort to take care of her and encourage her in the midst of this difficult ordeal.

One of the things that has changed these days is her diet, because due to the operation she had, together with all the complications that all this has brought, the doctors have suggested a special diet, among the foods she can eat are compotes made with natural fruits.

One way to pamper her is to prepare some delicious compotes made with pear and apple, a combination that I am sure my mother loves and enjoys like a little girl.





You can't imagine the satisfaction I felt when she found this compote delicious when she tasted it, besides very refreshing, she is already used to that every time I go to see her, I take her compote, this has been one of the many ways to tell her, I love you mother! ❤️

Now without further ado I invite you to join me in preparing this special Compota for Mom.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pear.
  • 1 Apple.
  • 1 Cup of Drinking Water.
  • 1 Spoonful of Honey.



Preparation Mode:

After having washed our fruits well, we proceed to peel and cut them into cubes.

I wanted to steam them, so I took my steel strainer that I normally use to strain the pasta and there I put the small cubes of pear and apple and covered them.

Then in a separate pot I put the cup of water, I put it on the stove over medium heat and on top of it I put the colander where we have our fruits.

Let it cook until the apple and pear are tender.

To cool our fruits more quickly, place them on a plate or in any other container and leave them at room temperature.

We reserve the cooking water that is left, we are going to use it, you will see that it will be a somewhat sweet water.

When we see that our fruit has cooled enough we are going to throw it in the blender, along with honey and about two fingers of the water we used for cooking, we will use the water we had reserved.

Now we blend very well, and we will have a thick and smooth texture, no need to add any extra thickener.

Serve, you can do it in a glass jar previously sterilized and keep it in the fridge to make it more refreshing!

Saludos queridos amigos foodies! 😊

Hace unos día comenté que mi madre ha estado muy delicada de salud, todos sus hijos estamos haciendo un gran esfuerzo para cuidarla y animarla en medio de esta prueba tan difícil.

Una de las cosas que ha cambiado en estos días es su alimentación pues debido a la operación que le hicieron, aunado a todas las complicaciones que todo esto ha traído, los médicos han sugerido una dieta especial, entre los alimentos que puede consumir están las compotas hechas con frutas naturales.

Una manera de consentirla es preparándole unas ricas compotas hecha con Pera y Manzana una combinación que estoy segura a mi madre le encanta y disfruta como una niña pequeña.❤️





No se imaginan la satisfacción que sentí cuando ella al probar esta compota le pareció deliciosa, además de muy refrescante, ya se ha acostumbrado a que cada vez que voy a verla, le lleve su compota, esta ha sido una de las tantas maneras de decirle, te amo madre!

Ahora sin más preámbulos te invito a que me acompañes a preparar esta Compota especial para mamá.

Ingredientes:

  • 1 Pera.
  • 1 Manzana.
  • 1 Taza de Agua Potable.
  • 1 Cucharada de Miel.



Modo De Preparación:

Después de haber lavado bien nuestras frutas, procedemos a pelarlas y cortarlas en cubos.

Yo las quise cocer al vapor, así que tome mi colador de Acero el que uso normalmente para colar la pasta y allí eché Los pequeños cubo de Pera y Manzana y las tapé.

Después en una olla aparte eché la taza de Agua, esta la monto en la cocina a fuego medio y encima le coloco el colador en donde tenemos nuestras frutas.

Dejamos cocinar hasta que la Manzana y la Pera estén tiernas.

Para que se enfríe más rápido nuestras frutas las colocamos en un plato o en cualquier otro recipiente, dejamos a temperatura ambiente.

Reservamos el Agua de Cocción que ha quedado, esa la vamos a usar, veras que quedará un agua algo dulce.

Cuando ya vemos que nuestra fruta ha enfriado lo suficiente la vamos a echar en la licuadora, junto con la Miel y unos dos dedos del Agua que usamos para cocción, usaremos del agua que teníamos reservada.

Ahora licuamos muy bien, y nos quedará una textura espesa y suave no ha hecho falta añadir ningún espesante extra.

Servimos, puedes hacerlo en un frasco de vidrio previamente esterilizado y guardarlo en la nevera para que sea más refrescante!

Bueno mis queridos amigos hasta aquí mi receta, espero que te animes a prepararla en casa, es una compota muy sencilla de hacer pero saludable y deliciosa, eso sí, cada receta hazla con amor, recordando que todo lo que se hace con amor siempre sabe mejor. 💕
