One of the most exciting activities we did when we were in Leyte was the preparation of ingredients and cooking of Moron.

Moron is Leyte's delicacy. I could only eat these delicious delicacies when some of our friends and relatives from Leyte arrived. This is made from rice and glutinous rice milled very fine and cooked together with other ingredients wrapped and rolled in banana leaves and steamed for a few minutes.

The preparation

We went to the mountainous part of the land owned by my ates mother to inform her auntie to get some banana leaves and coconut. After that, we went to the market to buy all the ingredients and mill the rice and malagkit for 4th time until it was very fine.

We enjoyed much with our cooking together with my ate and her relatives we were able to produce almost 200 pcs. It's not easy to prepare but it is delicious for early morning with a coffee. I'm thankful for the experience of cooking this famous delicacy.
