Spicy chicken curry with cauliflower

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago

I rarely eat chicken meat, I don't know why it seems that chicken meat is not as delicious as it used to be when I was little, in fact now I prefer duck meat. Maybe that's how life is when we get older, our appetite for something can also change, including our appetite. Even though I don't really like chicken right now, that doesn't mean I never cook it again. Because after all, I still have a husband who still has taste and likes chicken, whatever the processed form.

And to outsmart me so that I still have an appetite for eating the chicken, I usually process this chicken into spicy preparations and I will mix it with other vegetables, for example potatoes, tofu, tempeh or other vegetables that can be mixed and connected to mix with the chicken I want. cook. And today I will mix my processed chicken with cauliflower so that I have an alternative to be able to enjoy my spicy chicken today, because this week the weather is cloudy so I am also lazy to move and process a lot of food menus. Today my husband and I just curled up in the blankets enjoying our Sunday.

This spicy chicken preparation with broccoli mixture piqued my appetite with cloudy weather, although today I only prepared one kind of menu but I think it includes a balanced diet with a mixture of cauliflower in it, don't follow my laziness, friends. friends, but if it's once in a while I think it's a human trait that I'm sure you've also experienced. How come it's an outpouring session, huh? Ha..ha..okay, get over this silly thing and I will soon share the recipe with friends in this community.

Materials needed

1. 500 grams of chicken

2. 250 grams of cauliflower

3. 2 pecans
4. 3 cloves of red onion (according to taste)
5. 2 cloves of garlic (according to taste)

6. 10 large red chilies

7. 1 Tomato

8. Green chili to taste

9. 1 lemongrass stalk (bruised)

10. Salt to taste

11. 2 packs of thick coconut milk (65 ml each).

How to make :

1. Clean the chicken and add salt and lemon if you have it so that the chicken doesn't smell rancid, and because I ran out of lemon, I replaced it with salt and turmeric powder and then let it sit for about 10 minutes, while I prepared the ground spices.

2. Puree the candlenut, onion, red chili garlic and half the tomato.

3. Slice the green chilies and the remaining half of the tomatoes.

4. Saute the ground spices until fragrant then enter the lemongrass that has been crushed.

5. Stir and let it wilt, while waiting for the spices to wilt, clean the chicken that has been smeared with turmeric and salt earlier.

6. After the spices are sauteed fragrant, add the chicken and stir until blended then cover and leave for about 5 minutes.

7. After that, add the cauliflower and stir until everything is well mixed

8. After everything is mixed well, let it rest for a while so that the cauliflower wilts

9. After that, add salt and instant coconut milk

10. In order not to be too thick, you can add enough water and this is according to your taste.

11. After the taste is considered sufficient, the cauliflower has started to wilt and the coconut milk has started to boil then the stove can be turned off, the spicy chicken can be served for the menu.

12. Done..hurray..hurray let's eat.

How is my recipe today, I'm sure you've made it too with your own version. Congratulations on trying my recipe, greetings from us Tomi and Maya from Binjai City, Indonesia

Spicy...I would love this. :)
Yesterday we were eating out and my husband had a hot, spicy soup and accidentally started to cough. The waitress thought it was because it was spicy hehe, but it was not the reason. 😅

ha ha. I think I want to start finding out why your husband is actually coughing🤣🤣🤣🤣

He said it was not because of the spicy soup... But the waitress somehow didn't believe that 😂

Now this is interesting and a must try. I have tasted duck too. I feel it's sweeter than chicken.
