In these days I must admit we don't cook too much or visit restaurants, the weather it's really super warm and we mostly eat cold simple meals like mozzarella and tomatoes or salad, but some days ago we went to dinner in one of our favourite Japanese restaurant of the city, the Zen.
This place never disappoint us and we were curious to try their dinner summer menu, we usually go there for lunch but the dinner men have more choice and during summer have some different dishes than in winter.
As first as obviously I ordered some salmon dishes, the quality of the fish here it's really high and I love their salmon dishes, I ordered sashimi my favourite dish and Philadelphia Gunkan with creamy cheese, super yummy and served on a fancy fresh dish full of ice, freshness on summer its the top.
We try also another dish new in their menu the fish croquettes, really yummy and tender I loved it!
But I don't remember the Japanese name shame on me !
My husband ordered fried chicken he prefere meat to fish luckily they have a lot of meat dishes too. He ordered also fried hossomaki with tobiko and tuna the only fish he can stand.
He like hossomaki and Uramaki with tuna.
I also ordered one of my favourite dishes, dumplings this time with crab a new dish for them and shao Mai dumplings, I love them, obviously I added carpaccio salmon and salmon tartarre, I always ordered these dishes in every Japanese restaurant that I visit i love salmon. Another new dish is the fried omelette simple but yummy we enjoyed it too.
We really enjoy all the dishes a lot, they also have some news in their look with nice cat posters, I love them because I love cats.
Can't wait to go back there again!
