factors responsible for teachers for image (low status).

like I listed the duties of professional teachers are both I know some of us will turn to ask a question as to whether majority of our teachers are professional or they take to teaching as a former occupation for Livelihood.

there are many factors that are resourceful for the low status of teachers which are going to list and probably discuss below.

(1). there is lack of recognition of teachers by the various government unlike other professions such as medicine and law.

(2). several teachers are not professionally trained.

(3). some teachers perform very poorly

(4). many use teaching as a stepping stone to other jobs

(5). the level of professional training and intensity of professional preparation cannot be compared with what operate in other professions like medicine law or engineering e.t.c
