En Brasil, ya tenemos 1 año y 2 meses. Cuando llegamos, en pleno invierno, habíamos sentido lo fuerte del clima y algunas lluvias fuertes, pero, según los mismos Brasileros, cosas normales.
Pero, este año, ha sido totalmente diferente. Desde la Capital, la ciudad de Porto alegre, y casi todos los sitios cercanos, han sufrido terriblemente las inundaciones.
El siguiente enlace, les muestra cuan severo fue, y como quedó el aeropuerto que hace conexión con el resto del país:
We have been in Brazil for 1 year and 2 months. When we arrived, in the middle of winter, we had felt the strong weather and some heavy rains, but, according to the Brazilians themselves, normal things.But, this year, it has been totally different. ¿Hasta qué punto ha llegado la inundación?
En la siguiente imagen se muestra un desagüe que tiene unos 3 metros de profundidad. Para llegar a desbordarse, ha tenido que subir por lo menos unos 5 metros, lo cual ha sucedido.
Pese a que, 6 de mayo, 2024 no ha llovido, la gran cantidad de agua que aún hay, ha hecho que se mantenga ese nivel de agua.

Está situación, me ha hecho pensar en lo rápido que puede llegar la tragedia y lo fácil que puede llegar a ser perder todo por lo que se ha trabajado, como ha sido con la mayoría de quienes han perdido sus bienes.

Nada. Está ha sido la imagen que tomamos bien por la noche.
La ciudad de Novo Hamburgo, ha quedado sin agua, por lo que cientos de personas, y hasta miles, han tenido que buscar en estos sitios.
Que son pequeñas betas de agua que salen de una montaña, y gracias a esto, parte de la comunidad ha podido abastecer.
Por otro lado, algunos poseen pozos artesanales y gracias a ello, han podido ayudar a otros para que tengan lo suficiente.
En nuestro caso, hemos traído algunas personas para que tomen baño y lleven agua.
La situación hasta ahora es buena, en el sentido de que no ha llovido, por lo que ha hecho más fácil las labores de socorros.
Hay cierta ansiedad, preocupación y tristeza.
Habrán más repercusiones, pues la comida y la gasolina comenzará a agotarse. Y pues, pese a estar un poco acostumbrados por la situación en Venezuela, esto a veces nos causa mucha intriga por lo que pueda acontecer.

The city of Novo Hamburgo, has been without water, so hundreds of people, and even thousands, have had to look in these places.
That are small betas of water coming out of a mountain, and thanks to this, part of the community has been able to supply.
On the other hand, some have artesian wells and thanks to this, they have been able to help others to have enough.
In our case, we have brought some people to take a bath and carry water.
The situation so far is good, in the sense that it has not rained, which has made the relief work easier.
There is some anxiety, concern and sadness.
There will be more repercussions, as food and gasoline will begin to run out. And well, although we are a little bit used to the situation in Venezuela, this sometimes causes us a lot of intrigue for what may happen.
