Daughter mother relationships is what I enjoy seeing or hearing about, especially the good ones, though.
I wouldn't stand and say my relationship with my mom is so sweet and pleasant, neither is it sore, so it's just moderate.
Well, I grew up with my parents but as a teenager.
I went to the boarding school, so the boarding school kind of made me to be dependent on myself.
I learned to solve my issues and hardly relate to people expressing my feelings, especially my parents.
So, it was me against the world 😂😂😂
Never did I see nor notice the kind of restricted relationship I have with my parents, especially my mom, until when I got admission into the university.
I met a girl who made me view and determine the lovely daughter, mother relationship.
I surely envied the relationship she had with her mom.
It was a one that will make feel her mom doesn't want her to grow up.
After understanding and seeing her relationship with her mom, I got to admire and promised to have that kind relationship with my children in the nearest future.
Her relationship with her mom is so lovely and healthy.
She tells her mom everything, and they roll well like twins in communication.
That doesn't limit the discipline she gets from her mom, so in as much as they are very close and can relate with each other freely.
She didn't abuse nor disrespect her mother.
Parenting isn't easy but when a lovely outcome is seen, is well-loved as seen.

That's a great relationship to witness between daughter (your friend) and her mother.
Growing up to be independent is not a bad thing either, in your case were you still be able and comfortable to reach out for comfort or advice from your mom when needed?
