Finalizó el mes de abril, mes dedicado a la educación especial, sin embargo debemos continuar reconociendo y visibilizando esta modalidad educativa durante todo el año. Este mes nos brindó la oportunidad de resaltar la importancia de ofrecer una educación inclusiva de calidad a todos los estudiantes, cuyo fin es promover una mayor conciencia sobre las potencialidades de las personas con necesidades educativas especiales y/o con discapacidad, pues es el momento ideal para celebrar los logros de nuestros estudiantes y reconocer el valioso trabajo de los profesionales que los acompañan en su camino educativo.

April, a month dedicated to special education, has come to an end; however, we must continue to recognize and make this educational modality visible throughout the year. This month gave us the opportunity to highlight the importance of providing quality inclusive education to all students, which aims to promote greater awareness of the potential of people with special educational needs and / or disabilities, as it is the ideal time to celebrate the achievements of our students and recognize the valuable work of professionals who accompany them in their educational journey.

La celebración del mes de abril, llegó a su fin, dejando a su paso un legado de inclusión, aprendizaje y celebración que aún resuena en nuestros corazones. Este mes, dedicado a la Educación Especial, fue un torbellino de actividades que nos permitieron reflexionar sobre la importancia de la diversidad, la neurodivergencia, fomentar la autoestima y la aceptación aunado a celebración de la riqueza cultural de nuestro país.

The month of April came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of inclusion, learning and celebration that still resonates in our hearts. This month, dedicated to Special Education, was a whirlwind of activities that allowed us to reflect on the importance of diversity, neurodivergence, fostering self-esteem and acceptance and celebrating the cultural richness of our country.

Acto cívico reflexivo sobre la concienciación sobre el autismo:
Entre pancartas, afiches y globos, el mes azul nos invitó a abrir nuestras mentes y corazones a la realidad del autismo. A través de actos cívicos reflexivos, elevamos nuestras voces para generar conciencia con relación a la inclusión, integración e igualdad de oportunidades, para las personas con esta condición. A través de un mensaje reflexivo se dio a conocer las fortalezas, desafíos y la importancia de crear un mundo donde todos se sientan valorados y respetados.

Reflective civic event on autism awareness:
Among banners, posters and balloons, Blue Month invited us to open our minds and hearts to the reality of autism. Through thoughtful civic acts, we raised our voices to generate awareness regarding inclusion, integration and equal opportunities for people with this condition. Through a thoughtful message, we shared the strengths, challenges and importance of creating a world where everyone feels valued and respected.

Dinámicas para fomentar la autoestima y la aceptación:
Cabe resaltar que el amor propio y la aceptación son pilares fundamentales para el desarrollo integral. Durante este mes, se brindó a nuestros estudiantes la oportunidad de fortalecer su autoestima y construir una imagen positiva de sí mismos. Mediante actividades lúdicas y reflexivas, los animamos a reconocer sus talentos, celebrar sus diferencias y abrazar la diversidad que nos enriquece como sociedad.

It is worth highlighting that self-esteem and acceptance are fundamental pillars for integral development. During this month, our students were given the opportunity to strengthen their self-esteem and build a positive self-image. Through playful and reflective activities, we encouraged them to recognize their talents, celebrate their differences and embrace the diversity that enriches us as a society.

El movimiento y la actividad física son esenciales para el desarrollo integral de los niños. El circuito psicomotor nos permitió poner en práctica nuestras habilidades motrices, estimular nuestra coordinación y trabajar en equipo. Además, nos divertimos mucho mientras lo hacíamos.

Movement and physical activity are essential for the integral development of children. The psychomotor circuit allowed us to practice our motor skills, stimulate our coordination and work as a team. Besides, we had a lot of fun while doing it.

¡Qué divertido! Viajamos a través del tiempo y la cultura venezolana mediante un cuento enrollado sobre los juegos tradicionales. Esta actividad nos permitió conocer y disfrutar de los juegos que marcaron la infancia de nuestros abuelos y padres, conectándonos con nuestras raíces y fortaleciendo nuestra identidad nacional.

A Rolled-up story about the traditional games in honor of Venezuela was performed:
What fun! We traveled through time and Venezuelan culture through a rolled up story about traditional games. This activity allowed us to learn about and enjoy the games that marked the childhood of our grandparents and parents, connecting us with our roots and strengthening our national identity.
