With my partner, we are back on our land to continue the work on our little tiny house! And while taking a little tour of the grounds, we discovered a pretty salamander. 😄
I had never seen one before. I knew roughly what it looked like, but I mostly had in mind the decorations you typically find in summer vacation souvenir shops in tourist towns.
What a surprise to come across this little black and yellow being! We are really happy that our land is home to such a diversity of wildlife.
Moreover, to maintain our large garden, we decided to implement sensible mowing. The principle is to mow only the corners of the garden that interest us. For our part, we created a large path all around our pond. Around this path, we let the vegetation do its life. This allows biodiversity to develop.

Avec mon compagnon, nous sommes de retour sur notre terrain pour continuer les travaux de notre petite tiny house ! Et en faisant un petit tour de terrain, nous avons découvert une jolie salamandre. 😄
Je n’en avais encore jamais vu. Je savais à peu près à quoi cela ressemblait, mais j’avais surtout en tête les décorations que l’on trouve généralement dans les magasins de souvenirs de vacances d’été dans les villes touristiques.
Quel surprise de tomber sur ce petit être noir et jaune ! Nous sommes vraiment heureux que notre terrain abrite une telle diversité de faune.
D’ailleurs, pour entretenir notre grand jardin, nous avons décidé de mettre en place la tonte raisonnée. Le principe est de tondre uniquement les coins de jardin qui nous intéressent. Pour notre part, nous avons créé un grand chemin tout autour de notre étang. Autour de ce chemin, nous laissons la végétation faire sa vie. Cela permet à la biodiversité de se développer.
