I had a more or less conceived idea of how I could make Olaf and I started with the body which I chose to make in one piece in the shape of a pear. I first started with the narrowest part of his body giving a wider shape after the eighth round 30 decrease stitches. Then I continued with the corresponding increases going to a round of 36 single crochet stitches and increased to 66 single crochet stitches. Then I worked the height and the corresponding decreases until I filled in and closed. | Tenía una idea más o menos concebida de cómo podría hacer a Olaf y empecé con en cuerpo el cual elegí hacer en una sola pieza con forma de pera. Primero empecé con la parte más angosta de su cuerpo dando una forma más amplia después de la octava vuelta 30 puntos bajos. Seguidamente continué con los aumentos correspondientes pasando a una vuelta de 36 puntos bajos y fui aumentando hasta 66 puntos bajos. Luego trabajé la altura y las disminuciones correspondientes hasta rellenar y cerrar. |
Although I had a supposedly clear idea of what I was going to do, when I started making the head I realized that it was not as simple as I had imagined, because Olaf has a somewhat peculiar head and to give it the shape you have to make very precise increases in the right places. I don't think it came out as I expected and of course it can be improved considerably. I started with a disk of 18 low points and I made the increases in the front, marking the back part where I did not make any increase so that it would be flat. | Aunque tenía una idea supuestamente clara de lo que iba a hacer, cuando empecé hacer la cabeza me di cuenta que no era tan sencillo como lo había imaginado, pues Olaf tiene una cabeza algo peculiar y para darle la forma hay que ir haciendo aumentos muy precisos en los lugares correctos. I bordered the mouth with light blue yarn, and now our little icy Amigurumi Olaf was ready. Si. Realmente estoy feliz por este comienzo. Son los primeros pasos que doy en la costura, no he tomado fotos porque la zona es algo riesgosa y ya me han robado dos teléfonos, uno por año, así que no lo llevo. Pero estoy próxima a comprar mi propia máquina y allí si podré postear sobre costura...yupiiii.
