Feliz y lindo día Hive amigos, espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy, ya estamos cada vez más cerca del fin de semana. Y un poco más cerca de que se acabe éste mes.
El próximo mes empezaré mi último semestre de la Universidad, cada vez más cerca del final, y cada vez más complejo. De nuevo tengo que levantarme de madrugada y viajar a diario.🙉
Pero el trabajo da sus frutos amigos, no importa cuánto dure, tendrás resultados y todo irá bien si te esfuerzas.

Hoy estaba leyendo un libro del que ya he perdido la cuenta de cuántas veces lo he leído y he llorado con el todo el tiempo, “Lo que el viento se llevó” de Margaret Mitchell, mi libro favorito.
Siempre he usado un ganchillo de cabello para marcar las páginas, pero luego se me ocurrió que podría hacer un marcapáginas de tela, que al ser más suave de textura no dañaría las hojas y también se vería bonito.
Les mostraré el paso a paso de mi costura y los materiales que utilicé.🐜
Today I was reading a book that I've already lost count of how many times I've read it and cried with it all the time, "Gone with the Wind", my favorite book.
I've always used a hair crochet to mark the pages, but then it occurred to me that I could make a fabric bookmark, which being softer in texture wouldn't damage the pages and would also look pretty.
I'll show you the step by step of my stitching and the materials I used.🐜
Elegí un zorro porque en ese momento recordé la historia de “El principito”, y quise hacerlo como marcapáginas.
El molde solo consta de una figura geométrica con un pequeño corazón en el centro.
I chose a fox because at that moment I remembered the story of "The Little Prince", and I wanted to make it as a bookmark.
The mold only consists of a geometric figure with a small heart in the center.
La cola tiene forma parecida a una hoja, y sus dos patas delanteras que también las haré.
The tail is shaped like a leaf, and its two front legs, which I will also do.
Por cada molde son dos piezas de tela que van a recortarse, en una de ellas se traza la figura correspondiente que nos ayudará como guía para la costura.
For each mold are two pieces of fabric to be cut out, in one of them the corresponding figure is traced, which will help us as a guide for sewing.
La figura, antes de coser completamente, debe voltearse al contrario y luego rellenar con algodón. Después de eso es que se cose la figura hasta el final.

Posteriormente le colocamos el corazón blanco en el rostro, los demás detalles como los ojos y la nariz en negro, se hacen con el hilo de coser.

Para armar la cola, tuve primero que coser mitad tela blanca y mitad tela naranja, luego de eso, dibujé la forma de la cola sobre la tela para poder coser mejor.
To assemble the tail, I first had to sew half white fabric and half orange fabric, after that, I drew the shape of the tail on the fabric to be able to sew better.
Las patas delanteras son solo dos piezas de tela negra unidas y rellenas, con esto ya hecho, este marcapáginas está listo en un 80%.
The front legs are just two pieces of black fabric joined together and stuffed, with this already done, this bookmark is 80% ready.
Se reúnen las piezas para unirlas todas a la agujeta de zapato, el nivel de largo va a depender del tamaño de los libros que tengan en casa.
The pieces are gathered to join them all to the shoelace, the length level will depend on the size of the books you have at home.
Se pegan todas las formas, cada una en un extremo de la agujeta y con esto se termina el marcapáginas en forma de un pequeño zorro.
Glue all the shapes, each one on one end of the needle, and the bookmark in the shape of a little fox is finished.
Fue divertido hacer éste pequeño marcapáginas, son tres horas que me llevó coser a mano, pero me gusta porque ayuda mucho a relajar mi mente y mantener mi buen humor. Éste ya se ha convertido en mi pasatiempo y me siento bien cuando lo hago.
It was fun to make this little bookmark, it took me three hours to sew by hand, but I like it because it helps a lot to relax my mind and keep my good mood. This has already become my hobby and I feel good when I do it.
